Apple CarPlay wouldnt connect my new iPhone 17 to my 2021 Jeep using a basic USB-A to USB-C cable - I did some online troubleshooting and came up with the answer that the quality of the basic cable was not up to the task. I looked at Apple connectors which were more expensive and would take longer to deliver. I ordered this one and received it promptly. It worked perfectly.
