This is the best monitor I've ever had. If you're looking for an alternative to the Apple Studio Display and don't want to pay so much for a monitor, this is THE monitor to buy! Using a thunderbolt cable really makes a difference. I didn't realize it until I tried it myself.

I cannot tell you how long I was looking for a monitor that would show an accurate view of the photos I take for photography (and graphic design) but also not completely break the bank. This does the trick and its alot easier to ensure my content looks good. If I had the ample space to have a dual monitor setup I would easily buy this again.

This BenQ PD2705U monitor is terrific! It only requires one USB C cable to connect with my MacBook. The single connection not only shares data, it also charges the Mac. You can also connect two external drives to the USB A ports on the backside and two more peripherals on the ports on the right side of the monitor. Pretty unbelievable; all of these connections running on one cable, not to mention charging as well!

I absolutely love this monitor. It is the perfect size and if you don’t have a problem of an overly bright office environment, the brightness of the monitor is just right (I’ve seen some complaints that it does not get bright enough). I love it so much that. I am purchasing a second to use next to my primary one. Dual monitors are the best!

I have edited photos using LR on my Macbook using the USB-C cable it is a breeze. I am almost a month of use. And I also use it as my producitiy monitor, resding text as it has great clarity. I am coming from a older monitor so it is a big difference for my use. I have a BenQ lightbar however, that does not fit on top of the monitor as it has air vents

medium tier. Not the best, but not worst monitor I've used. I've had to relegate it to 3rd monitor on my set up. Has some flickering at times and we can't figure out why. flickering started after warranty expired. Would need to pay to get it repaired. Picture quality is pretty good, but it does feel a little dim, even when it's a full brightness and in HDR mode.

not as high quality of a display as it is made out to be. I will probably revisit the brand in the future but not this model. I watched a lot of reviews before buying it and there were so many positives, but after using it, it is clear that those were paid for and not honest. The quality of the image and brightness doesn’t come close to a 27” iMac and I ended up with a $300 Samsung display that looks better.

Benq makes incredible monitors and do not have a negative to say about the product. It was the purchasing experience that was negative. Never purchasing from Best Buy again.

Awesome monitor. Great quality. Picture is clear and colors are vivd. The puck is a great accessory. I would recommend getting the version with the special desk. I couldnt as I dont have the desk space.

Love this monitor, had to return it because it didn’t go well with the refresh rate of my other one, but it was great for work. The color really pops.

Great option at a cheaper price than the Apple Moniter.

Best Buy mis-labeled this monitor. This is advertised as thunderbolt 3 and daisy chain capable online but there is only 1 usb-c upstream stream port. There is no downstream and it shouldn’t really be advertised as thunderbolt 3 because it’s USB Type C (3.1 gen) which means you’ll only be able to transfer data at 10 Gb/sec compared to thunderbolt 3 at 40 Gb/sec. So the USB 3.1 type-c port is bottle necking your transfer and since there is only one port, you can’t daisy chain because you’ll need another cable such as hdmi or Display Port to connect another monitor or a hub to chain them together. This is misleading by Best-Buy because BenQ does not advertise this monitor this way. It’s a great quality monitor but, what it’s not: - thunderbolt 3 or Daisy chain capable - it will react slow to your Mac because of the USB 3.1 type C if trying to use multiple monitors.
