I find this very useful and effective, really helps charge my computer while being in the middle of the room. So great I bought 2 of them.

This 6' indoor/outdoor extension cord is a fantastic general use extension cord that is backed by Best Buy and a 1 year warranty. The Specs: This cord is rated for 13A, 125V, and 1625W - which will handle most home application indoor and outdoor. The gauge is 16AWG and it is grounded (3-prong). My Use Case: Personally, I needed an extension cord for my robot mower's charging station in my back yard. I have tons of ugly orange outdoor extension cords that I use around my yard but I needed something more discrete and more of a "purpose built" size so I didn't have to worry about hiding 20' of extra cord. The size was ideal for my application and the black is subtle and blends better with its surroundings. Would a Recommend? Absolutely. Do note that even though it is advertised for outdoor use, the warning on the cable itself does state to keep it away from water and not to use it when wet. For my application, I won't have to worry because it will be out of the weather where it is located but do keep these warnings in mind if you choose to use it outdoors.

The extension cord comes wrapped in a circle, with the package wrapped around it. It’s easy to open and even easier to use. The glossy black gives it a nice appeal and is a much-welcomed change from the neon orange cords I previously owned. The extension cord is actually a little longer than 6’ which is great because it gives me a little extra length to reach my outlets. The Extension cord is rated for both indoor and outdoor use. It has 3 prongs and is grounded for electrical safety. The cord has a tight grip when plugging other cords into it, making the connection snug and keeps it from falling out. This extension cord works great for giving that extra length needed when the power outlet is just out of range. This cord looks way more substantial than typical lamp cord and reassures you that it ought to be able to handle just about any load that your electronics could draw. I understand that a 16 AWG wire like this one is rated for 13 amps. It is big and relatively thick. When you look for extension cords, you are usually relegated to cords that look just like the cords that run to your table lamps. This grounded cord makes the typical offering look, shall we say, lacking. I placed this cord into service feeling that it is probably going to last my lifetime, and I truly mean that. I have it placed in a console which houses my UPS, and I use this cord as an extension from the mains to my UPS. Multiple devices are attached to that UPS: My television, my cable modem, several different kinds of streaming devices, two networked TV tuners, a computer, and a Blu-Ray/DVD player. I have no doubt that this extension will be able to handle the current draw from those devices with it's hands tied behind its back! It is durable and reassuring and I highly recommend it.

For the price, this extension cord does exactly what I need it to do. I am using it to power a pretty hefty floor fan. It matches the gauge and color of the fan and doesn't get warm. Not really sure what else to say. If you need a single plug extension cord, it works.

Very durable cable that works well for an outdoor use. The dark color helps keep it out of sight.

this is a good three prong extension cord and a good length for a cord that is going to be used all the time. it is long enough to give you a good extra length but not so long that it sets in the way.

Built a new PC and my standing desk setup needed a longer cable from my PCs PSU to my surge protector. Found this extension cable which was rated properly for my needs, and has worked flawlessly, giving my PC PSU power cord on ny desk the necessary slack to go from sitting to standing mode without pulling on my surge protector.

Good value, short cable is nice if you don't want to have to hide a large extension cord indoors. Used it for my TV and living room looks much better without a rolled up extension cord

Excellent and sturdy but I think a bit expensive compared to other stores like target. I used it for laptop charging that requires a high watt transmission, works perfect.

Perfect when your new TV has the power cord on the opposite side of the one you are replacing.
