Simple keyboard but everything worked perfectly fine. I needed it to use a raspberry pi at home and I didn’t have any issues with it. Would buy again if I needed to but i’m sure this one will last forever and my pockets were saved also.

Simple, low cost wired PC keyboard. I choose Best Buy Essentials first if they have what I am looking for. They put their name on it so it better be good. It is. I bought one each for home and office. Three weeks steady now with no problems. I am certainly not a power user but I am at it every day.

I recently purchased the Best Buy essentials™ Full-size Wired Membrane Keyboard (Black) as a backup keyboard for my home office, but honestly, it has exceeded my expectations and is now my daily driver. Right out of the box, the keyboard feels sturdy for something at this price point. It’s lightweight, but not flimsy, and the matte black finish gives it a clean, minimal look that blends well with any setup. The keys are full-sized and well-spaced, which is a must for comfortable typing, especially during long work sessions. I was surprised by how satisfying the typing experience is. The membrane keys are soft and quiet, yet responsive enough for accurate typing. There’s a nice tactile feel without the loud clicky noise of mechanical keyboards, making it ideal for shared or quiet environments. This keyboard is a great example of how “essentials” doesn’t have to mean “cheap” in a bad way. It’s dependable, comfortable, and does exactly what it’s supposed to without any extra complications. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a basic full-size keyboard without breaking the bank.

The only thing I don't like about this keyboard is that the enter key has an extra key next to it to the left (backslash), that I strike more often than the enter key. It's frustrating, and a poor design flaw. But it does the job, just have to be more aware. I bought it because I had accidentally left my keyboard at home when I took my computer to a friend's house, where I was house- and dog-sitting for two weeks. I'll keep the Best Buy keyboard as a backup. Thankfully it was inexpensive, and a backup is always good to have, especially if my original keyboard stops working. I go through keyboards and mice fairly frequently.

Works quickly with MacBook c adapter. Plug/play. Don't like USBA cord. It's too springy and will be returning. If you're looking for old school type keyboard, this is good. It's far different feel from laptop and requires more effort to push keys.

Thank you, CathyG. We’re glad to hear the keyboard functions well with your MacBook setup. We also appreciate your thoughts on the cord design and typing experience—your feedback is valuable and helps us better serve our customers. I give the keyboard 5 stars bc what you get for the price is a fantastic value. it works well and no need for drivers to download - just plug and play! lightweight and the keys push seamlessly. Just a regular traditional keyboard that works well. Buy one as a backup or when your current one gets too dirty to clean

Wireless Keyboard died. Wired keyboard was easier to install than the wireless one. Works great.

Quiet keyboard, good design and really comfortable. Definitely my go-to keyboard for work now!

Perfect fit for my hands. Keys feel good - as I come from back in day of using a typewriter, and I type hard and fast. I just hope that the letters do not fade off, as with previous keyboards.

The keys don’t feel bad and it’s a bit light but overall works well for the price.

As basic as they come, but it gets the job done. I needed a very cheap stopgap keyboard after my 1-year-old poured 20 ounces of coffee on my expensive mechanical keyboard and shorted it out, and this did the job. For 11 bucks, it powered on and registered keystrokes. What more do you want?

Basic but functional full size keyboard. If you need a basic keyboard without all the bells and whistles this is it.

The keyboard was easy to install, and has worked fine, unlike the two wireless keyboards we had previously, one of which came with the computer and the other, which was a replacement, which eventually began failing.

Great wired keyboard - plug in play. Works really well - much better than my wireless keyboard. There is no lagging at all.
