This Cat 5 adapter works exactly as expected and has been very reliable for my needs. The setup was quick and easy — just plug it in and you’re ready to go. Connection speed is stable and I haven’t experienced any drops or interruptions. For the price, it’s a solid value and does the job well. I would recommend it to anyone needing a simple, affordable Ethernet solution for their laptop or desktop.

Works great! I'm saving this for when my other port is full, cuz I have to use Ethernet (no wifi at my cabin) - so I've got two of these, one to fit each port. I can swap them out, depending on what else I have to plug in.

This thing doesnt work at all. The lights dont even come on as if theres no communication from the adapater.

Works great! Sony A95L internet speed is capped at 100mbps using ethernet or wifi. Used this by connecting ethernet cable to it and into USB3.0 and my A95L gets speeds of 950mbps. Sony Bravia Core movies much smoother and super clear

I have one laptop that is always used home at desk and recently it was upgraded from W10 to W11… what a mistake… wifi card driver keeps crashing the system… well… turned off the wifi card and bought this little adapter… works like a charm, speeds are excellent and the fact it added 1 more wire to the desk setup is no factor. Would buy it again

The Best Buy Essentials USB-C to Ethernet Adapter made my Switch connection more stable and slightly faster than Wi-Fi. The speed gain isn’t huge, which may be a limitation of the Switch itself, but setup was easy and it works reliably for casual gaming.

My son's school Chromebook continues to have an issue with its WiFi. It'll randomly not be able to connect and so my son can't continue his homework. Since the Chromebook doesn't have an Ethernet port, this was the perfect accessory. We’ve had no issues and it’s worked great.

Perfect, nicely compatible (with Windows 10 and 11) device for attaching wired internet connections. Plenty fast (line rate) according to my personal tests with speedtest. Highly recommended.

Easy setup and fast connection on my system.

The Ethernet "card" in my desktop quit working. I bought this USB to Ethernet adapter to keep connected. Works just as fast as the original connection (I am using Powerline (Ethernet over ac wiring) so I am very pleased. Pretty much plug and play setup. I think I had to use Windows control panel to connect to new network, but I was up and running in about 5 minutes start to finish. Very satisfied.
