Got this ride on for my kid, assembly was very eary, doesn't take more than 1 hr. You have to charge batter for 8 - 9 hrs for first use and lasts for about an hour which is not bad. CONS: battery charge to life ratio sucks charge for 8 hours and last only an hour is pretty bad, but my main concern is that the steering wheel still operates while in RC mode which means your kid can swerve into bad spots depending on where you take it out for a spin. I got it on sale for $170 so for this price point its pretty good, but i wouldn't pay more for it.
