Turned out well with a little extra work.

Design and assembly where as expected. Some minor damage and the instructions CLEARLY state Not to contact the seller, but the manufacturer... no contact information that I could find. All in all it was inexpensive solution that required some additional work and time. Use a stain pen to color the edges for a cleaner look.
