This film is a masterfully-executed absurdist film. Cusack is incredible as the teenager half-existing as he stumbles through the strange but meaningful world he lives in. It’s absurd, but speaks truth to certain parts of existence. An 80’s classic that stands with the best of them.

It was jice seing this movie again. The humor has aged well :-)

This is and will always be one of my all time favorite movies. Seen 100 times and I'll see it 100 more. If you haven't and like John Cusak I highly recommend this movie. One the all time 80's greats.

This to me is one of John Cusack's best movies. It is a great comedy and have enjoyed it since when I first saw it over 20 years ago. Movie soundtrack is great too!

This movie was one of the better 80's comedies. It has action lots of quik-wit humor. They don't make them like they used to and that's unfortunate.

It's a decent 1080p tansfer. I have the DVD, a 4k player and 4k TV with high quality hdmi cables so i can compare these intelligently. I was stoked to see that it was on blu-ray. Compared to the dvd, the blu-ray is brighter and more crisp upscaled to 4k from the blu-ray source vs dvd. The DVD was a little more dull, and the colors weren't as vibrant. Honestly, I prolly could've lived with it, but the blu-ray is worth it if you're a fan of this film. The audio is a lot better than DVD. I was expecting to be completely wowed to see this film in blu-ray 1080p upscaled to 4k, but it was just decently better not phenomenally better (like the princess bride on dvd vs blu-ray. THAT is a massive an worthy upgrade). Don't expect to be blown away, and you will be ok. It is not a HUGE improvement over the DVD, but it is still noticeably better. Especially the audio. Worth the dineiro if you are a fan of this film. I got it on sale for $9.99 at my local best buy. Best price I could find on it anywhere.

Like others I’ve moved to streaming a lot of stuff. This movie was not streamable, so...I bought the blu-ray. Love this movie!

Love this movie,lots of laughs and a great cast with a great soundtrack. Definitely recommend for anyone into good 80s comedies.

Loved this movie when I was growing up and it's still a good laugh. The transfer was great, no issues with the picture.

A real dreamers movie. Guy beats the jock at sports, gets the right girl instead of his dream girl.

John Cusack was definitely the man in the 80’s and if your a fan the you gotta check this one out.

This is one of Cusacks first movies. A bit strange, but still funny! Soundtrack is the best.
