A Tim Burton movie without Johnny Depp or Helena Bonham Carter, who would have thunk it? Some folks have compared this to Burton's earlier work Ed Wood, but this is a very different film indeed in a much more conventional world. Definitely not what one would normally expect from a Tim Burton film, but definitely worth watching.

I had never heard of Margaret Keane before this movie, but I had seen the big eye paintings, but never knew the story behind them. They were all the rage in the sixties and seventies. Tim Burton steps back a bit and doesn't use his fantastical touch as much on this one. It's a good call. Amy Adam's is delightful. See this movie!!

This is a movie I wanted to see and I feared I would have to order it from Amazon. I found it in your store and It was my birthday gift with Best Buy certificate. I loved seeing this movie as it is about a lady artist and I remember those painting with the large eyes. I am glad I bought it for my birthday as I enjoyed it.

I have watched this DVD several times since I bought it. It is a great film that combines truthful historical information with a super storytelling sensibility. Also I love the little booklet included. I highly recommend this film and this lovely DVD box set.

A good movie. Especially for any Tim Burton fan. It's a great ride from a genius mind that's unlike his usual stuff, but yet still has that "feel." Christoph Waltz and Amy Adams are great together even when the characters they play aren't.

I got this movie not knowing what I was getting into. I love Tim Burton and the art on the cover looked interesting. It turned out to be a great story. Very entertaining and sends a good message about standing up for yourself.

My wife bought this and I didn't think it would be for me. After a few minutes I was caught up in it and enjoyed it very much. Shows how someone can dominate and control another person.

I am a Big Amy Adams fan, and I was not disappointed. A good story and very well made movie. I will always go for the movies that are based on a true life experience or person.

Although the theme of this movie may not appeal to those unfamiliar with the big-eyed children paintings of years ago, Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz make it a must see for everyone.

I was a big fan of the Big Eyes pictures when I was a kid, and own a few but was amazed when I heard her story. Her husband was so manipulative, he made me mad

I bought it on a whim, but was very pleased that I purchased it. The movie gave great insight to a nearly forgotten artist!

Tim Burton did it again. I love how he can make a true story and add his twist to it. It still was a fantastic movie.

I was aware, in the late 60's, that the wife was the artist. But this film filled in many gaps in the story.
