I have to agree it is an upgrade from your just a vacuum. I have two dogs and this steam cleaner does a heck of a job. I definitely wouldn’t be using it to clean up oatmeal but to each his own. Not that it wouldn’t clean it but what goes in must come out. Meaning it is necessary to clean up all filters and such after each use. I can clean up around 1300 sq ft but I clear out the water and add solution 3-4 times. It does a great job. I can’t warn you enough that when you throw out the water do not throw it out in your sink. That slushy dirty water will clog up your sink house pipes. You have to buy a cleaning solution & pet cleaning solution separately. I luv the fact it has a clean itself mode. I do find it a necessary cleaner to have if you have little carpets. I for instance only have carpet in my bedrooms. Really like the dock station. So easy to use. A great buy.

I use this at least once a day in my home :) I love how satisfying it is and makes my floors look really really clean and the solutions I have used smell amazing! I just wish it would hold alittle bit more dirty water, I feel like I’m dumping out the tank every 2 seconds but other than that I love it!!

The product was easy to assemble. Once put together comes with easy instructions to use and a self cleaning mode. The vacuum is not wireless so remember to assure plug ability in areas needed.

Seriously impressed with this vacuum. It's by far the best I have used. Was shocked by how quiet it was, and it didn't seem to lose any suction power to compensate. Floors went from covered in cat hair, food crumbs, and whatnot to spotlessly cleab. The vacuum is very intuitive to use and feels snappy when switching from a push vac to using the hose or even emptying the dust cup. Speaking of the dust cup, this cup is actually easy to empty compared to others I have used. I've had so many that were impossible because you could only empty it from one end, design flaws that led to clogged corners, etc. Didn't know it swiveled when I bought it, so that was a nice surprise. Really glides across the carpet.

Exceeded our expectations!! This machine is awesome!! Not heavy and does the vacuuming, and mopping as I had hoped. It washed our hard floors as if we had vacuumed and manually mopped the floor woth the exception that woth this the floors were dry in seconds! Very easy to use. Just need to maintain it, follow clean cycle instructions, and wipe it down, and it'll run like a champ for a long long time. (Tried to add photos but upload kept failing).

Works extremely well. Gets dirty quickly but easy to clean. Recently I accidentally bumped it while cleaning, hit the floor and snapped the entire handle off now it’s worthless. Would recommend, just wish it wasn’t so cheaply made.

I've tried it four times now.And it seems to work, okay.But it requires a lot of taking it apart and cleaning it properly after you're done. It also The suction for taking up the excess water is not as strong as I thought it would be. You would probably be better off just mopping it very wet and taking a wet and dry vac Instead. And that would have been a lot less money. Overall it's a good product, it's limited in its ability to do the job to complete satisfaction. The cost for what it does and the required cleanup of it is certainly not something that I would buy again.

After 1 year the plug overheated (wasn't our outlet) but with our Tech Membership we were able to get a brand new one. The 2nd one wouldn't steam (luckily already having one, I knew how much steam there should be). At this point I wasn't going to go with this brand again however, it was on sale for $50 less and I knew the outstanding job it does cleaning so I did. Hopefully "The 3rd time is a CHARM" holds true as this is a great cleaner/vacuum combo and with pets and disabilities it's a back saver. The 4 stars is only because of the aggravation of having to go to Best Buy twice and not giving me the full comp value, only the original purchase price.

Would be better for someone who do not have too much of a mess. We have a lot of dirt in our backyard and 2 large dogs and a toddler, constantly tracking it in. Despite me sweeping the floor roughly for larger items prior to vacuuming, this still just not powerful for our needs. The mop qlso left water trails from the wheels on our floor. Have barely even used it at this point so was not worth the money for us.

Makes your clean up easier by skipping the vacuuming step. It doesnt get close enough to the floor to get some material up. According to reviews the other crosswave models would be better for those situations. I would have returned it but missed my return window.

Love it I have two messy little girls that attend to make a mess better than I can.the. Then We have jobs and time is limited .. There’s nothing I’ve ran across that the crosswave doesn’t clean in a quickness! Thanks crosswave

It’s okay, stains or sticky mess that has sit you have to go over multiple times. It is nice with the clean filter and steamer system.

Not great. Will leave streaks all over hard surface floors.

The new Bissell Crosswave Hydrosteam is absolutely fantastic. I love that I can replace both my steam mop and old Crosswave mop/vac with this new all-in-one device. In my opinion, this new version feels better built, has a better color scheme, cleans better, and is much easier to clean out. My house is mostly wood and tile floors, with dog hair sprinkled throughout. So, being able to vacuum, steam, and mop at the same time is perfect for my lifestyle. With the Bissell Hydrosteam, my cleaning time was basically cut in half. Furthermore, this mop had no issues picking up the dog hair, cleaning up food droplets, and it left no streaks. I also love that this uses less water/solution than the combination of cleaning products I used to use. Moreover, it dries quickly, so I don't have to worry about ruining my wood floors. When it was time to clean the Crosswave, all I had to do was press a button and the self-cleaning kicked in. After that, it was just a matter of emptying the dirty water bin and wiping off any leftover dog hair from around the brush roll area. My only complaint would be that the steam is not really visible. This makes it hard to tell if it is even working at times. Also, some may complain that it has a cord. However, I have used battery-powered wet vacs before. I assure you that there is no comparison to the convenience of being able to plug it into a wall and immediately use it without having to wait for a battery to charge.
