It’s a solid choice for a small, portable, and easily stored solution. I was not overly impressed with the suction power, and the attachment for upholstery. The attachment makes it a bit tricky to scrub stains. I’d suggest using a separate tool or towel to agitate. Lastly, there is a suction vent at the bottom of the unit, but it doesn’t come with casters to keep elevated. You will either need to carry upright or find a small platform to see the best results. With that said, it does do a pretty solid job pulling up stains and neutralizing odor. Be prepared to treat 2 or three times for larger set in stains. However, the fact that it is so compact and easily stored, along with its satisfactory performance is the reason we will be keeping this and giving it 4 stars.

Great product. Lifted heavy grime from my seats. First prep by using a small medium coarse brush to break down the dirt with a interior cleaner.

Tbh i was skeptical when buying this as we had tried 2 of the larger options and been extremely disappointed. This product was a pleasant surprise. It works very well, cleaning it is easy, using it is easy and convenient. Highly recommend this over their (Bissell) larger comparable products and doesnt take up much storage room.

I can sum this one up in one word: WOW!! We have 2 dogs and WHITE couches. Between them having dirty feet, accidents or eating their messy treats they can really make a mess. We had so many stains and dark spots on the couch. After ONE time cleaning my couch looks BRAND NEW!! 1000% recommend. So diverse and the steamer is awesome. Can also be used to clean you seats or carpet in your cars!!

Very nice designed machine. Well compact and very easy to maneuver. It works very good it has great power whether it’s you car’s upholstery or your carpet or anything at home. The steam makes the job easier, such a great feature. It gets the job well done.

Bought this to remove red carbonated soda that was spilled onto one of our pair of white couches. Using steam only, I was able to remove all of the reddish residue. The fabric itself was treated by its maker with something that helped the liquid to bead up and not penetrate into the fibers, but I credit the unit itself with the success of the removal. It performed above my expectations. The unit quickly generated whichever I chose, hot water or plentiful steam, and sprayed it with accuracy to spots I desired to address. The vacuum feature effectively removed the hot water as well as the reddish residue of the drink, without leaving behind any discoloration. The brush was effective but not too stiff (there are two choices of brush, I used the lighter one). The use of the unit with hot water, steam, and brush, did not appear to affect the fabric, only to remove the foreign residue. I have not tried it on a pet stain, but I would not hesitate to use it to deal with a surface stain after chemically or biologically neutralizing anything that may have penetrated into the rug or carpet. Not inexpensive, but effective.

Even steam output with very little sputtering, Even and powerful suction, Super lightweight for ease of use around the house. Amazing for chairs and couches, Even amazing for my car carpets!

For starters, the design is absolutely beautiful! I never thought I could fall in love with the look of a cleaning product but Bissell nailed it!! I love how small/compact this is which is wonderful for our old home that lacks storage. Second: after using this on my grout and to clean small well placed avocado smears on my slipper chairs, I love it even more! We redid our kitchen about 5 years ago and put in a light gray grout. Unfortunately, at that time, we did not seal it properly so it always looks dingy now. I use this machine to clean my grout yesterday and it looks brand new (and yes: we will be sealing it!!)! This is such an amazing product for all those tough stains and little spaces that need to be properly cleaned!

So my grandchild had spilled chocolate milk all over my sectional and boy was I glad that I picked up this Bissell machine. It was the best and I picked up the product to go with it. I came home worried this things would not come out but this machine really was easy to set up. I was so worried that I would have to call Stanley steamers once again to do my rugs or my chairs or the sectional but this machine really outdated itself. I was so proud to say yes it took me a couple times to do it to pass over three times to be exact, but it was well worth the price and I get to have a machine that I could do mattresses I can do my chairs. I can do my Ottoman and I was able to even do spot cleaning on the little rug that people don’t even come into my house, but you know they have Accidents Whether it’s wine, soda, chocolate, milk, and boy it saved me so much money compared to what’s family same as what it cost and now I have a machine that works great love the product. Love the machine thank you so much.

I had bought it because my dog has some severe separation anxiety and took a dump on the carpet. I am in a temporary apartment and do not own the apartment or anything in it. I want my security deposit back, so I used this, and it worked to clean up the poop stain. Even better, my dog vomited on my bed, and this got that up as well. No compaints.

This thing works great! I've used it on a couple chairs, my car's fabric upholstery, and spot cleaned the carpet in places where my large rug cleaner can't fit. I love that the nozzles are easy to clean, though the steam function is somewhat less than impressive.

The BISSELL SpotClean HydroSteam 3689F is very effective for quick cleanups and spot treatments. It handles stains well and is easy to use and carry around. However, the sound quality of the machine can be a bit loud and unpleasant at times, especially during stronger suction. The water tank capacity and battery life could also be improved for longer sessions. Overall, it does the job well and is a convenient tool to have at home for small messes.

It’s very easy to use! Pick the type of spill (they have a recommendation graph) to choose from and different types of heads that do different things. (Mine came with only 2 although it says they were 3) overall I had a ugly bed that needed some extra work and this was By FAR better than my scrubbing with water, soap, & baking soda

Works great! and better than non steam version. You have option to use steam with cleaner or steam itself and works faster than traditional method. Steams comes out very quick so dont have to wait. Only downfall is it is somewhat loud.

I like Bissel products for carpet and steam cleaning. I have the Big Green machine, which is the best one I've used (having had a few brands previously which ultimately died). This I think does not have the same suction as the hand-held Big Green wand, but it works well for sure. Very easy to pull out and get to work straight away. Good weight. I do like the steam and spray together. It's a unique functionality. Big fan of this little machine. Very goo value.
