Q: What if you don't have a pet and just want to clean up regular messes such as dust, a spill, etc. Could owning this vacuum benefit the non-pet owner?

A: Definitely! It's a fantastic vaccume for dirt, dust and crumbs. I have been using it a lot in the kitchen, windowsills, and front door area.

Q: does this have a stationary charger that holds the whole unit, or does it use a battery? If the latter does it come with the base station for the battery?

A: No it does not have a wall charger. You plug in the whole unit. I have mine on top of my washing machine in the laundry room. Hope this helps.

Q: Does this vacuum work well on tile? I know sometimes vacuums have side exhausts that just blow hair around while you're picking it up, at least on hard floors.

A: Yes it does. I've used it picking up stray kitty litter as well

A: The instruction said, you may clean the filter and filter cup by washing gently by hand in warm water and mild dish detergent.

A: Yes. It’s pretty powerful & versatile. Love this handheld vacuum. My daughter also uses it to do a quick clean up of her car.
