Q: Can I leave unused cleaning solution in the machine while its stored, or do I have to dump it every time?

A: Hi Morgan - it's safe to leave any unused formula in the machine. We do not recommend leaving dirty water in the cleaner.

Q: Do you need to go back over the carpet with just water to rinse out the soap

A: You really should go over with a mild acid like a vinegar mixture after cleaning otherwise the soap residue will cause your carpet to resoil much faster than normal.

Q: How do I get pet hair out of the suction part that goes over the bristles??? It's so thin that you can't fit anything in it to clean it out. I'm not talking about the guard right above the bristles but the part that attaches that will come off above it.

A: Have you tried the long skinny gray tool that comes in the accessories bag? It worked great for me!

A: I bought it for my daughter she has kids and 1 big dog and 1 small puppy and her carpet is a off white color and with 2 kids and 2 dog's it was something that she needed to clean deep down into the carpets and she uses it on her carpets and she has done her couch and both of her chairs and they look like brand new I am amazed by the way this product has worked for my daughter it definitely is worth the money that was spent on this product it is great.

Q: I bought this machine haven't had a chance to use it yet. But I watched the video. I was supposed to get three brushes and I only received two .and the is a lid in a plastic bag that I have no idea what it's for.

A: I only received 2 brushes as well, I believe the third was a promotion of some type. That lid is actually for pouring solution into the tank. It's like a measuring cup.

Clean carpets again!
The Bissell carpet cleaner is not too heavy and is not difficult to use. It performed well. It removed stains that professional cleaners were unable to get out. Drying time was not too long either.

Makes a huge difference
I loved this purchase! The deep clean does take a few hours to dry, but the express clean shows the same results with quick drying results. Even though you vacuum beforehand, clumps of hair are still going to come up in balls all around where you're steaming, so this cleans and removes deep deep hairs. sometimes it's a little leaky if it's filled with dirty water and left standing. not sure if i'm doing something wrong for that but it doesn't bother too much.

Your Carpet Will Never Be the Same
I had a Hoover carpet cleaner that served me well for 9 years - but finally the brush stopped working, so I replaced it with this Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution. Wow, take a look at the second picture and the difference it made on one of my area rugs. That is with 2 cleaning passes and two suction passes. I am very happy with the ProHeat 2x Revolution. My only gripe is that the front suction area takes some work to clean. But they do give you a flexi tool to help get the gunk out - so that mitigates it somewhat. Note - this is essentially the same machine as the more expensive ProHeat 2X Revolution Pro. They both have the same brushes, tanks, and suction power. The difference is that the fancier model can squirt cleaner out the front (which is kind of a gimmick, if you ask me. I can spray a few squirts of Resolve Carpet Cleaner myself, and much more accurately). The other difference is on the Pro model the entire front housing lifts off so it is easier to clean inside the machine - which I admit is a nice feature. But not worth $70.
