Blackstone Grill Rocks and So does Best Buy
The grill is a great size, works amazingly, cooks fast, and easy to clean. Best Buy was terrific to work with.

Waiting to use it
I bought this for home use, but mainly for travel as we like to camp and this is a great option for on the go. I assembled the grill with no issues, but when it came time to put on the lid and close the top it would not go all the way down so it could be latched (See attached photos). Also if it did the latch was bent, but that was an easy enough fix, more of a foot note than a problem. Everything else went great in the process and it looks amazing, but the lid issue is a non-starter as I need this to be mobile and packable, so it needs to close. I double checked the instructions and confirmed it was correct and everything was properly tightened. When looking at the lid I noticed that the back "splash guard" part of the cook top had a bend/warp in the metal. I looked closer at the lid as it was closing and found that it was catching on that back wall and would not close. No problem, issues happen, and this one was so small I didn't notice through the initial trouble shooting. I got on the Blackstone site and started looking for a way to contact them about a replacement cooktop, and ended up with the chat bot. Super simple to submit the issue and photos, but there was not an available agent to talk to at the time so I was told to watch for an email. After days I had still not received an email even confirming my issue had been received/logged/anything so I tried again. I currently have 3 submitted bot reports, and an email direct to the support team, but still no response. Back to the product though. The quality emanates from the griddle, you can feel the weight and see in how sleek it is that this is designed and for the most part is a high quality product. I went with a Blackstone as my friends and neighbors with them spoke quite highly of them as well. I have no doubt this griddle will be another excellent tool in my cooking arsenal, but I am waiting to utilize it until I hear back from Blackstone on how to correct my issue with the Griddle plate.
