I purchased the sync module 2 as an upgrade to the original because I wanted to use the local storage feature instead of paying for a cloud subscription to Amazon. Switching from old to new was simple and you won’t need to delete existing cameras then re-add them afterwards. *READ THE FINE PRINT. Local storage option only works with the newer generation cameras. Works great with my indoor mini’s but not with my 6 xt2 cameras. For now, I will need to keep my subscription service until I upgrade them to the newer generation cams. Bonus! If you have the Gen 1 sync module wall adapter the sync module 2 fits in it perfectly and you’ll be able to use the shorter cable that’s not provided with the sync 2. “See pictures.”

I Love the Blink Module!! Setup was very easy! Connectes to your existing Wi-Fi. Plus un a USB flash drive and your good to go. View camera videos from your phone or computer. You can save videos to your email or download them to your computer. So eay to use and its Free!! Daniel R.

I decided to go with Blink because with this Sync Module I won’t have to purchase an additional subscription to keep motion clips! And my system is working GREAT! I have four cameras now and can add more if needed. I also love that Blink has all kinds of additional accessories, like 13 ft power adapter and tilt mount. I’ve also purchased covers for the camera to keep them from getting moisture.

The Sync Module 2 can be used as an external storage drive via USB. I’d recommend this device for easy set up and the option to up your storage as you choose.

Easy to setup for my Blink camera system in my house. Used my own USB thumb drive formatted as Ex-Fat to store clips so I don’t have to pay for a Blink storage subscription.

Works flawlessly when I turn on the APP to view my property. The unit tells the camera when to go on and off through online commands.

If you want to avoid paying a monthly fee for your cloud camera service (saving videos, recordings, etc.), you should purchase this module. It's really easy to install, and you'll always have your camera information at your fingertips.

Super easy to set up, just make sure it’s plugged into an outlet that won’t turn it off ever, since this is the hub for your system (after you have more than one camera). I dislike that I can’t dim the lights on the indicator lights but overall it does its job. It stores all of your footage easier, only downfall is that if you have multiple cameras it shows the footage feed in chronological order & can’t be separated by which camera you’re reviewing instead.

Very easy to set up and install. Works very well with the cameras. Installed a 64G USB to save camera motion recordings.

Great system it works perfect last one was hit by a lightning I got this one the camera started working fast no problems
