The light & cameras showed current when tested, but no light. Called Blink service. Though the service person was very thorough, we could not get the light to work. Blink is supposed to be sending a replacement, but when contacted after a week, we were told there was a "supply issue". So, we wait.

Hello Lindac
Thank you for your feedback on the Blink Arc 2K. I am sorry to hear about the frustrating experience with the floodlight not working despite the cameras showing current. It is clear you have already invested considerable time troubleshooting with Blink support, and I appreciate your patience through this process.
The Blink Arc 2K Wired Floodlight Camera is designed to deliver 3000 lumens of motion-triggered LED lighting with 2K video and 180-degree coverage. The floodlight should automatically activate when motion is detected by the paired cameras. When the cameras show as functional but the floodlight itself does not illuminate, this can sometimes be related to a few specific areas. First, within the Blink app, the floodlight settings should be checked to ensure the light is enabled and that the motion detection sensitivity is set appropriately — the floodlight uses the camera as both a motion sensor and controller for lighting functions. Second, the wiring connection between the floodlight mount and the power source should be secure, as the floodlight mount receives power through the hardwired connection and uses a weatherproof USB-C connector to communicate with the camera via the Blink One-Wire Interface. If any of these connections are loose or improperly seated, the cameras may power on while the floodlight LEDs do not activate. Third, a firmware update may be pending that could resolve a lighting control issue — checking the device firmware status in the Blink app under device settings can confirm whether an update is available.
Regarding the replacement delay you are experiencing, I want to be transparent — there have been some shipping delays with Blink replacement devices, and the supply issue you were informed about is consistent with what other customers have reported. Replacement orders can sometimes take longer than the typical timeframe to fulfill. I would recommend following up with Blink support again to confirm that your replacement order has been processed and to request a tracking number or estimated shipping date.
I understand how disappointing it is to have a new product not work as expected and then face delays in getting it resolved. Your feedback is valuable, and I hope your replacement arrives soon so you can enjoy the full functionality of your Blink Arc 2K. Thank you again for sharing your experience.
