Great cameras—but the AI thinks I'm a child

Very happy with these cameras. Setup was easy, and the 2K video is sharp; night vision is good, and the motion/person detection has been reliable—though I have had to adjust the sensitivity settings to keep notifications down. The wireless design makes placement easy, too. My only complaint is with the AI’s judgment. One day I got out of my truck to grab a bag from the rear, and the camera identified me as a child. I’m a grown man, so either the AI needs some work, or I’ve discovered the secret to aging in reverse! (which is apparently being 5'7" and weighing 170lbs) Overall, excellent cameras for the price. The app is easy to use, with good picture quality and plenty of useful features.

Motion perimeter is too sensitive

The cameras are decent, but the motion perimeter is too sensitive. When you adjust the sensitivity down to one, it still drains a lot of battery juice. But other than that the cams are nice. They're smart. They define if it's a dog, a cat, my fiance, my stepdaughter the mailman all the way to the Amazon guy. It sends an alert

If you need easy to install cameras this will do the job. Batteries are expensive and theses suck the life out of them quickly.

Not great with 5G Network

Had connectivity issues. Doesn’t work great with 5G network. After speaking to customer I’ve had to return them. Subscription plan is great. Only charges one subscription fee for multiple locations.

Thank you for your feedback on the Blink Outdoor 2K+ Wireless Smart Security Camera — we're truly sorry to hear about the connectivity issues you experienced, and we completely understand how frustrating it can be when a security camera doesn't perform as expected. It's worth noting that Blink cameras operate on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only and are not compatible with 5 GHz networks, so if your router is set to broadcast only on 5 GHz, the cameras will have difficulty connecting. To resolve this, ensure your router has a 2.4 GHz band enabled and connect your Blink devices to that network specifically — many routers allow you to create separate network names (SSIDs) for each band to make this easier. We appreciate your kind words about the subscription plan, and we're sorry the connectivity experience didn't match the value you found there. Thank you for your feedback!
