I bought this as my first smart doorbell and was satisfied, but started second guessing myself when I noticed other brands bragging about how superior their 2k video quality was or how their AI scene description was revolutionary, so I decided to try the Arlo instead. I immediately regretted that decision. And because I wanted to maximize the battery life I hardwired the Arlo, which is the only reason it lasted a few weeks before switching back to the blink. My main problem with the Arlo camera was that it did not start to capture the movement until the person was almost gone, since im in an apartment and its capturing a hallway. This isn’t an issue with this Blink camera which captures motion the moment someone enters into frame. I only ever saw the back of people’s heads with the Arlo. Wireless made it so easy to put up and take down and I’ll just use rechargeable batteries moving forward. Finally, when the trial of the subscription service for Arlo expired I truly gained appreciation for the fact that this Blink camera lets me record on an SD card. Who needs another monthly payment that ends up costing more than the product? This way feels a lot better for privacy reasons too.

Good little camera. Field of view is adequate and motion sensing is nice. Being able to tell me the difference between person, car, or animal is nice but gives a bit of a creepy vibe since Blink, like Ring, is owned by Amazon and may cooperate the Flock company and/or ICE.

This captures movement pretty well. However, it misses activity sometimes which I don’t understand. Hate buying another subscription though.

I purchased this so I could track my deliveries that were dropped off. It seems to be working fine.

Easy installation, good quality really good for the price

As an experienced customer having bough both Ring and Blink smart doorbells with no issues, this new generation device was a fail on so many levels: "Blink - Video Doorbell - Head-to-toe HD view, two-year battery, simple setup, Sync Module Core included - White". First, it's huge and heavy, bigger than gen 1 which is odd because electronics usually get smaller in new generations. Second, the plastic around the lens is flimsy and wavy, very poor build quality. Third, it started going "Offline" a few days after installing. It would go back online, but I didn't buy a smart doorbell to work part time. I tried customer service twice and their messages back to me were cryptic and asked me to take so many steps. I may end up having to return this lemon.

We decided to go with blink door camera since we have other outdoor cameras of this brand and couldn’t be more pleased!! Clear picture and sound with prompt alerts!!! Easy setup and installation!!! Batteries are very long lasting and videos are NOT sluggish at all!! Highly recommend!!

We got this for our apartment and we love it. It works really well, and have had no issues with it. After a little bit you do have to get a subscription in order to see the video footage but we still love it and would purchase again

Love the fact that you can talk back & forth with people, & pop in for live viewing anytime! Absolutely love how easy it is to add more cameras!! My next purchases will be flood light & another pack of outdoors with extended range! Can’t think of any dislike… oh well maybe that doorbell don’t ring without a home ? Idk speaker? Alexia? But with notifications I get alert b4 they get to the bell & spook’s cause didn’t see it

This is easy to install and use but then the trial ends a d it be omes usrless u less you subscribe. Which is mot too pricey, so still great product

This doorbell camera is really easy to set up, and also, it has all the features you need for a really good budget price doorbell camera, it does give you one month free to use the features and then you’ll have to pay every month, but I say it’s worth the purchase.

Really enjoying the experience with this doorbell. The non subscription based service works great to allow more security from people ringing the bell. The enhanced features are a bargain really to include AI reviewing activity from the area, and live view availability. Installation was very easy, just had to retry the wifi connection a few times. Would highly recommend to anyone looking at other options from Ring and much higher priced security options for your home

We got this to replace our previous doorbell camera. This was a great upgrade. The picture is clear, sensitivity is very customizable. It could certainly have a sleeker design, but overall, this was a good buy

Camera and door bell provides great videos and features to match other brand of cameras.

It was easy to setup. I highly recommend getting mount instead of drilling holes if you live in an apartment complex
