This mic was bought under the pretense I would do allot of vocal recording. Meh. The voice recordings do sound a bit...hollow? dull? My old mic that I got with my soundcard gave a richer, fuller sound to my audio recordings. As i stands I've had this mic since June 2022, and it still performs very well. It is very heavy and sturdy, and having a heavy base. It is more than I need. However, the Blue Yeti X Professional mic does work well, with some gripes. 1) I do wish the PATTERNS were visible on the front of the mic, instead of being behind it. I need to turn the mic around to see what pattern is selected. It would have been nice if the mic had PC software that displayed a notification every time the pattern was changed. 2) The headphone jack works well for me to hear myself during recordings. Although, during gaming, with Discord, I can only hear my voice and not the game sound from the PC. With other games, however I can hear both. 3) It does not have any noise canceling, because I can hear myself typing during gaming, which some petty gamers find annoying. Oh well. I tried all the patterns (Pattern 3 (user focus) is the one I use most) none seem to reduce the sound, although it doesn't bother me much to matter. But background noise cancellign would have been nice to have, like a toggle button? I did hear some background noise (popping, hissing?) while doing the sound test within Steam. This mic was designed for pod cast use, but I record audio for videos. The sound can be remixed to sound fuller. As mentioned the recodings can sound a bit small. The size of the mic is a bit much for me, as I am used to in-ear or over-ear type mics. But, it is a professional mic and it is more than suitable for me. It pairs automatically with both my W10 PCs, both have a Intel i7 CPU. The price is steep, I will add, but for what it was designed to so - it seems adequate.

Very clear vocal that you will be pleased with. I was dreading setting up a bulky audio interface in my smaller workspace, but this usb mic has saved the day. Records as nice as mics costing much more, and it has simple controls that allow you to do everything you could want. I’d recommend to anyone who is getting more serious about voice capture.

I purchased this mic for Twitch and for Teams/Zoom/Webex meetings and so far I'm very happy with this mic. I find the external mics work so much better than the ones that come with webcams. The accompanying Logitech Hub-based software to control the different microphone settings provides quick tweaking during use.

Pros: Solid construction, Great Voice pickup, Nice LED function for input Gain level visual, Plug and Play out of the box Cons: Out of the box the clarity is flat and a bit muffled. Need Logitec G Hub (free to download) to adjust equalizer and to make this mic really shine. Mic picks up everything! even on cardioid pattern. Especially if using the stock stand on your desk (vibrations, keyboard clicks, bumping the desk). Need a Boom Arm Stand in order to reduce/eliminate this annoyance. -Boom Arm add on is a must (I suggest Elgato boom arm regular not the low profile) if you play Mouse and keyboard. -This mic is huge, obstructs view if placed on desk. and picks up key clicking like crazy even on lowest gain. basically, biggest pet peeve is requires additional purchase/tweaks to get ideal set up for steaming/podcasting Overall: I would recommend this to anyone doing basic podcasts and ASMR stuff (stereo function). solid mic, but has its pet peeves. I will personally most likely go with Shure SM7B for what Im looking for but that is going to be pro level and costly. So stick to this as your option if you want high quality to intermediate mic.

I've been using this microphone for over a year now and love it. The quality is unmatched to any other microphone setup. This edition to my setup elevated my zoom presence help me start my podcast up. For a USB microphone, it's going to be the best one on the market I think. I wish the stock set up came with a boom arm setup and a pop filter, but I bought a boom arm and pop filter set on Amazon for pretty cheap. If you set the stand on a desk, the microphone is very pick up all the vibrations from your hand and your keyboard hitting your desk. So a boom arm that isn't attached to the desk That's what I would recommend. I attached a photo of how I did it. Definitely watch videos about how to talk into it properly. I think speaking technique is arguably more important than the equipment used to filter the voice. It has four modes to choose from as far as how your voice comes into it. I really only use one mode which ignores everything behind the microphone. I do have a really loud mechanical keyboard that people can hear on the microphone if I do not mute it. So it does pick that stuff up unless you have software that dampens background sound or keyboard clicks. Overall, this microphone is awesome. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to up their microphone game and not want to get into XLR microphones. Definitely a great USB microphone. Oh, and I have used this microphone on Windows, Mac, and Linux. I hope this was helpful to anyone looking at this microphone

I was given a Blue Yeti from my work so I can do voice overs for videos. The mic performs great... So great, my 13 year old decided to take it and use it for his gaming mic. Needless to say I ended up buying 2 more; one for my 11 year old gamer and a new one for myself. The new one looks better than the old one and performs just as well. I really enjoy being able to select the direction of sound recording based on the type of recording your doing. Already own 3 but would definitely buy another.

This microphone is the best I’ve had the pleasure to own. The sound quality for both voice and instrument recording is top notch. I was completely taken aback by the sound quality, even without pop filters and sound absorption; it wasn’t harsh on p-t sounds and the guitar sounded warm and balanced. I loved its multiple modes for picking up sound; the ability to change how sound is picked up is a versatile tool for multiple put together. I highly recommend this sound peripheral in general; no matter the function you’re looking for, this mic is up to the task!

Pros: -If you tweak the settings (especially the gain level) via G Hub, this mic captures voice/sound amazingly -sturdy build quality -futuristic yet classy look to it -for a USB mic, the sound quality comes very close to the quality of an XLR mic Cons: -Doesn't come with a pop filter, I suggest you get one for this mic -This is just my experience but this mic did NOT sound great out of the box. You need to customize the settings to cater to YOUR voice -The EQ settings take patience w/experimentation and tinkering till you get that "sweet spot" -For some reason, this mic has the presets in G Hub with the gain level set way too high -pricey, this should be around the $129.99 range, not $169.99 -lastly, if you intend to use a boom arm with a shock mount, the two mounting holes on the sides are exposed. Very awful looking but you eventually get used to it. Bottom Line: This is an intermediate level mic. It takes some tinkering and patience with the EQ settings via G Hub (you have to download this) to make it shine. In my experience, this mic sounded really flat and awful out of the box. Thank goodness the EQ via G Hub gives you the power to customize the mic to cater to YOUR voice :-)

First off, the sound and pick-up patterns are great. Secondly, it’s incredibly intuitive to set up and use. The included software takes it to another level. I’ve used it to record YouTube videos and have also used it during Zoom meetings and the difference is incredibly drastic. Would highly highly recommend.

I just got my Blue Yeti X in the mail recently, and all I can say is that I love it! It’s so easy to use, and with my usb to usb-c adapter, I can easily use it with my iPad Pro! It is marketed mainly for gaming and podcasting, but I’m using it for songwriting to produce my own music, and it is working great for me! I highly recommend this microphone. I was also considering looking at the Apogee Microphones, but the price of this was much more affordable, and it works great for what I am using it for!

The new and improved Yeti X is the ultimate mic for gamers, streamers and podcasters. The audio quality is amazing and the personalization effects for lighting are a nice feature. It does come with the blue software via Logitech’s G Hub that has powerful EQ pre settings and manual settings to perfectly tune your voice. I personally am just running it without the EQ software and my viewers love the sound and quality, if you need a new mic or need an upgrade this is the one.

I'm glad Best Buy had it in stock with same-day curbside pickup. Best Buy also gave me a fair price and didn't gouge me! Thanks Best Buy! It's plug-and-play or you can load the software with all the bells and whistles. even worked with my phone with an OTG adapter. It would be great if they had an Android app to go with it. Quality is good and feels solid, but when on the table, it picks up all the sounds of things on the table moving or what not. Will have to get a good mic stand for isolation. And a wind noise cover.

Workhorse of a microphone. I use this often for recording trainings and live for webinars. I have used this on Zoom webinars and ON24 platform as well. I have already recommended this to several of my colleagues and they have nothing but great things to say. It makes you really stand out on a call or recording.

Good quality without breaking the bank, lots of different modes. Would recommend! Good for podcasts, gameing and music recording really an all-in-one package.

I bought this for my son at the recommendation of the Best Buy staff. He uses it for playing online video games and it solved the problem he had with other online players not being able to hear him well. He highly recommends it.

Picks up quite a bit of background noise so I had to purchase a wind shield for it. Overall it's a nice quality microphone though.

The audio sounds great. My voice is clear and concise. There’s a big difference on the sound from my latest YouTube videos I posted on channel Nhia Lee. It’s worth the money for me. The pictures show the mic in the corner.
