This movie is amazing, but don't watch if you want to be uplifted. Blue Valentine is a devastatingly realistic look at the blossoming then disintegration of the love between two people. Very realistic, and the performances are amazing from Gosling and Williams.

If you’re wanting to see a love story from a different perspective, this movie captures the rawness of lust, love, broken hearts, hardships, and divorce beautifully. It shows the reality behind relationships.

A wonderful film about falling in and out of love. Every performance just feels so REAL.

Blue Valentine is a film I discovered after being mesmerized by Cianfrance's The Place Beyond The Pines. Much like Pines, what sets Blue Valentine apart from the rest of contemporary cinema is the raw & uncompromising authenticity which is truly unmatched in terms of realism. Gosling & Williams give two of the best performances I've seen in recent memory, and this is a film which will definitely stick with you for quite some time. Highly recommended.

This movie is absolutely amazing. One of the best love stories that I've seen in a long time. I love how this film shows the true side of how love can really be. Everything isnt roses and daffodils. In the real world love can take you in so many different directions. So I think that this film shows you just that. So happy I made this purchase :)
