I was in between this option and a Cambridge streamer, but after some research and reading a British hi fi magazine article where they were comparing 3 streamers around the same price range, this was the winner, no doubt, those dual mono DAC chips really do their job, and almost dethroned my beloved Aurender A-15 in my main system, now I have the bluesound in a different room, hooked to an Anthem receiver using my old true and well tested paradigm speakers, everything Canadian you would say, I was able to integrate all my music digital files and all streamers /systems with Roon software (streamers have to be Roon ready like this one) and activate my Qobuz account, then the sky is the limit if you’re a serious listener, highly recommended

[Employee of bestbuy] Ive been listening to the Node Icon nonstop now for a couple of days. It has taken my KEF R3s to a whole level. Originally, I hooked it up to my Pioneer receiver that sends a signal to the Rotel that powers the R3s. I didnt love the sound. I hooked the Icon directly into the Rotel instead. HOLY CRAP!! The best i have ever heard my KEF R3s. The Node Icon is staying in my system.

[Employee of bestbuy] This best-in-class music streamer has it all. It sounds amazing with lots flexibility for installation. The two high-end processing chips make a difference in sound quality and fidelity. The BlueOS app makes it easy of use to stream your favorite music.

The Bluesound node was very difficult to connect to my avr network and after over an hour spent with geek squad and the vendor’s tech support it was discovered to be defective.

The sound is decent, sound stage is disappointing, I ended up using an external dac because the sound was missing certain mid frequencies that made vocals or snare drum hits sound hollow or scooped, missing a heft or body to it. Too bad i cant return it anymore as the return period elapsed.

Stream music on Amazon and other apps but not Apple. Had a problem with WiFi kept dropping music finally switched stronger signal and works great now
