Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

A great series of song/poem/stories from the master of wordplay. The melodies are terrific - with a studio band including Mike Bloomfield on guitar and Al Kooper on organ. Dylan's harmonica is haunting and plaintive.

This album runs the gamut from fast paced, half joking songs, like that of the title, to far more somber material like Desolation Row. Pretty much every song on it is a classic though. One of four or five Dylan albums that everyone should own.

I love this cd. I am so glad that i bought it. Rolling Stone had it ranked as #4 greatest album of all time and i think it should be #2 (only behind Sgt. Pepper's by The Beatles)

This album is one of the greatest albums of all time. If you haven't listen to it yet, you must buy it. You won't be disappointed after you buy this album.
