A: I have had two of these for about 3 weeks now and they work great. They have a larger dust bin than the $1000 unit I have had for years so it has worked way better with pet hair. My more expensive unit allows me to set boundaries electronically where these units just learn and go where they go. They come with a strip you lay down that stops them from going where you don't want them to. All in all, they are great and I am actually ordering two more due to the low price.
A: They do Map your home but you cant set it on the app. They learn all by themselves after one or two runs. I noticed they continue to check areas such as closed doors that are now open or if a chair is moved they will cautiously move to the area and continue working until it finds an obstacle.

A: I empty it after each cleaning. It doesn't clog, and I have a large shedding dog. It cleans about 1000 square feet.

A: I just goto bobsweep website and buy from them.
Q: Can u use it on different levels or do u have to buy more than one
A: I have hardwood floors and carpet and it works well on both and transferers from both very good.
Q: How does this product work with cat toys on the floor?
A: I don't have cat toys, but I do have a kinda cluttered house, and the Bobsweep does surprisingly well at working around obstacles. It does have trouble when it sucks up the fringe from a rug; then I have to manually reposition the Bob. If the cat toys are small enough to be sucked in or partially sucked in, this probably isn't a good option for you.
