About this product
Some Kind of Wonderful A young tomboy, Watts (Mary Stuart Masterson), finds her feelings for her best friend, Keith (Eric Stoltz), run deeper than just friendship when he gets a date with the most popular girl in school, Amanda, (Lea Thompson). Unfortunately, the girl's old boyfriend, Hardy (Craig Scheffer), who is from the rich section of town, is unable to let go of her, and plans to get back at Keith. Clueless Jane Austen might never have imagined that her 1816 novel Emma could be turned into a fresh and satirical look at ultra-rich teenagers in a Beverly Hills high school. Cher (Alicia Silverstone) and Dionne (Stacey Dash), both named after great singers of the past that now do infomercials, are pampered upper-class girls who care less about getting good grades than wearing the right clothes and being as popular as possible. But Cher, who lives with her tough yet warm-hearted lawyer dad (Dan Hedaya) and hunky, sensitive stepbrother (Paul Rudd), also has an innate urge to help those less fortunate like the two introverted teachers she brings together (negotiating herself improved grades in the process) and new friend Tai (Brittany Murphy), who starts out a geek and ends up a Cher prodigy. Cher also possesses her own sensitive side, and she is looking for the perfect boyfriend, whom she ends up finding where she least expected. Mean Girls After living in Africa with her zoologist parents, Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) must brave the wilds of high school where she is taken under the wing of the popular girls, The Plastics, led by the cool and cruel Regina George (Rachel McAdams). What follows is a treasure trove of sharp, witty humor that defined a generation, inspired a hit Broadway musical, and popularized countless catchphrases. Co-Starring and written by Tina Fey, and featuring Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, Lizzy Caplan, Daniel Franzese, and Amy Poehler, Mean G

A quartet of sixtysomething lifelong besties-recent widow Diane (Diane Keaton), fearlessly single Vivian (Jane Fonda), long-divorced Sharon (Candice Bergen), and listlessly married Carol (Mary Steenburgen)-were each struggling with late-life relationship doldrums. Things on the romantic excitement front, however, begin to look up-courtesy of their choice to read and critique the erotic novel InchFifty Shades of GreyInch! Don Johnson, Andy Garcia, Richard Dreyfuss, Craig T. Nelson, Alicia Silverstone also star. 104 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.

The First Wives Club - DVD - Reuniting for the funeral of a college classmate, three women of a certain age join forces to gain revenge on their youth-obsessed former husbands. A scathing satire of both society and Hollywood, adapted from the best-selling novel by Olivia Goldsmith.

Join the Club - The First Wives Club, the good-time battle-of-the-sexes satire sparked by snappy one-liners, great physical-comedy gags and three unforgettable stars in top form. Bette Midler, Goldie Hawn and Diane Keaton portray mid-life Manhattanites who have more than a longtime friendship in common. After years of helping their hubbies climb the ladder of success, each has been dumped for a newer, curvier model. But the trio is determined to turn their pain into gain. They come up with a cleverly devious plan to hit their exes where it really hurts - in the wallet! Sit back and watch the sparks fly as The Wives get mad, get even and get it all. Justice has seldom been so sweet. Or so much fun.
