I love this movie and even with todays politics it is funny funny funny. The supporting cast is hilarious. In the end to have this on dvd and at a really cheap price I can watch it over and over again. Classic 80's

This is a classic & must have!! Never gets old!!!!

Because I had not seen this movie in more than 2 decades, I had a certain "picture" in my mind. I guess because of the ongoing climate in immigration at this time, some, including myself, may be a bit sensitive to the subject matter (both pro and against). Being Latino, I still was able to find it very funny and in some distant way, relatable although I never had gone through such thing, but heard the stories. Plus, it's been a while I haven't heard "Cholo" speak as it pretty much gone away.

Born in East L.A. will always be a classic comedy, and it was great to be able to watch it again on DVD. I definitely recommend for anyone who is a fan of the comedy.
