We bought this to replace a Frigidaire purchased about 3 1/2 years ago. With the Frigidaire we had several problems including residue, especially on plastic and silicone, undissolved detergent, and finally an electronic issue in which the pump would come on unless the door was open. I did a lot of internet research on different models and chose this model because Bosch dishwashers have a better water heating system (not an exposed coil like most), this model has a water softener (we have moderately hard water), and there is an on/off switch (unlike the Frigidaire). It was installed by a pleasant Geek Squad guy. We have had it for less than a month, but so far it is great. I mostly use the “automatic” cycle. It cleans things we used to have to soak without soaking. It leaves almost no residue on plastics and they actually look shiny. I love the third upper rack for utensils and small items. It is very quiet and I like the red indicator light that shows it is running. The middle rack is easy to raise and lower and I have found this very usefull when I need to wash mixer and food processor bowls, which are tall. I do a lot of cooking and baking a need to run the dishwasher every day, sometimes twice. It is great to know the dishes will be thoroughly cleaned. Very glad we made this purchase. One thing to be aware of: this model is a special order through the website and takes longer to get.

Did quite a bit of research before deciding on a Bosch dishwasher and all reviews pointed to the quality. They were all correct. I used to rinse all my dishes before and now they go straight from the table to the dishwasher and come out perfect every time. The "softwater" feature seems to make a significant difference on glassware and such as we have extremely hard water where we live and, even with a rinse agent, glasses had some spotting but no longer. I viewed an online installation video and decided to attempt installation on my own and that turned out to be easier than I thought. Just make sure to get a "dishwasher installation kit" and you will have everything you need. This unit is a bit pricey but if performance is what you are looking for, it's hard to beat this Bosch unit!

I have waited over 10 years to buy a dishwasher, yes 10 years. My old one broke and I just couldn’t find what I wanted. The main thing was the water softener because I always would get spots...not anymore. So incredibly quiet and 2 opinions for putting in silverware 3rd drawer or basket and the basket removes if you need more room on the bottom rack. Installation can be done by hard wire or plug (it’s located at the bottom of dishwasher) Love it, Love it, Love it!

I researched this purchase via online reviews and friends recommendations. Bosch came out on top for sanitizing and quietness, both important aspects for a dishwasher! I couldn’t be happier with our purchase. The third/ top rack is great for larger utensils and knives and there’s still plenty of room for glasses on the second rack. Overall a great product!

We finally got the dishwasher, delivery time was almost a month. Our area stores didn't have any in stock so it had to come from a warehouse. So be aware if you have an urgent need for a new dishwasher. The dishwasher itself is very quiet and it feels well built. So far the dishes have all been perfect when the cycle ends, even with basic detergent (using unscented powder detergent). Having the special salt container for water softening really helps in our area with hard water, no film or spots left on glasses or cutlery. And you can buy the salt for very cheap online. My only complaint, though very minor, is that the "auto" cycle can take quite a while from start to end, usually at least 2 hours. To be fair, there is a specific "fast 60min" cycle too, but I assumed the "auto" cycle would be on the shorter side too, it isn't. But hey, I'd rather wait a bit more and have clean dishes than fast cycles which require re-washing half of the load (like our older dishwasher). One thing our installation tech told us is that the drying requires rinse aid to work well, since it uses a steam system rather than the heating element found in most machines, and the system requires the rinse aid for the water to "fall off" the dishes. It's a bit counterintuitive to use steam to dry dishes, but that's why the rinse aid is critical to getting good results. From what I understand, having the all-in-one balls is not enough, you need the actual liquid that goes in the machine itself. (which we use)

The Bosch-300 is quiet, effective and with the water softener exceeded our cleanliness expectations.

This dishwasher is awesome. You’re going to pay up for a Bosch dishwasher, but it is worth every penny. It is easy to use and super quiet. Highly recommend. You’ll be super happy with this.

well built. It's so quiet don't even realize that it's running.
