Old DW was a noisy old thing so decided to look for those with good quiet noise ratings and read Bosch were very quiet in general. We had a KA in a previous house and found it did a great job of cleaning and drying but was not quiet enough for the new house due to proximity of kitchen to the family room and bedrooms. Our son has a Kenmore Elite at the house they recently bought and it is very quiet - so we looked at Kenmores, KAs and the Bosch. After a good deal of research, we decided on this model for several reasons - the sloped silverware tray aids in washing and drying, the height adjustable middle tray is helpful for different height items, the adjustable supports in the trays help to add flexibility in supporting different types of dishes, bowls, etc, stainless liner for long life and durability, no exposed handle to stick out from face of cabinet, front facing control panel allows for seeing progress at a glance, large removable utensil bin and it was within our price limit and best buy offered free delivery within 3 days. Honestly, Kenmore and KA both have very comparable machines. Lowes has the same basic model at same price but theirs is a specially modified version that takes swaps out the 60 min cycle with a 30 min cycle. Frankly, we did not feel a 30 min cycle would be useful where this one with 60 min cycle seems much more realistically useful for small loads. Only thing I needed for installation was the water inlet fitting and a section of flexible supply line. The old drain and power cord were re-usable. The height and level adjustments were easy, all done from the front. It fit perfectly into the old space and the under counter tabs fit pretty close to the previous. So far it has performed well. I agree with others who complained of the odor - definitely a musty odor from water used for testing before shipping and/or certain plastic parts. After several uses now, the odor seems to have dissipated. I'd say the extra dry cycle is pretty regularly used - it seems energy conservation may limt the heating power of newer machines - our old KA seemed to heat up much more. But then its not a big deal and probably safer in the long run for plastic utensils. Our old machine did ruin a plastic burger press that said it was dishwasher safe but apparently not safe from those that put out more heat. We have not tried all cycles - the 60 min and auto seem to be working fine for our needs. In general with only the two of us, we run it once a week. Since dishes tend to sit for a while, I tend to rinse them well in the sink first to avoid having stuff dry on and be difficult to wash off. Of course there are times we crank out more dishes and are less fussy about rinsing when we know we will be running it that night. In all occasions so far, it has performed well.

Overall, this has been a decent dishwasher so far for the few months that we've had it. I would recommend it if you can get it on sale, but I would not recommend it for full price. Pros: easy to install, cleans and sanitizes dishes well (the most important thing!), very quiet, very easy to use, has a third rack at the top, reasonably priced since we got it on sale Cons: does not dry dishes at all, even when using rinse aid and the "Extra Dry" setting, our previous Bosch dishwasher had all metal fittings, but this one has some plastic fittings and attachments which has me concerned about the long-term durability, it was missing multiple parts that the installation instructions said would be included and that we had to go out and buy, there is not much space between the bottom rack and the spray arm or between the middle rack and the top rack, which makes it difficult to fit even normal sized plates on the bottom rack or larger glasses on the middle rack

This is the best dishwasher I've ever had. My dishes are much cleaner and sparkle even when I don't use a rinse aid. I love the stainless steel interior.and the spaciousness between the bottom rack and the second one. The thirid shelf works wonderfully for lids, utensils, scrub brushes and sponges. It is so quite and fits nice and flush with the counter top. The wash and extra dry features are wonderful I will never buy another brand.

This dishwasher really cleans well. However, it doesn’t quite get everything dry unless, you a rinsing fluid. Even then you may find moisture on your Tupperware or Rubbermaid products. It is very intuitive. My Bestbuy delivery guys left the manual in the washer and put it through its first wash cycle. My wife and were able figure the system out without manual. I did download one. This has got to be the quietest washer we have ever had. You barely notice it is on

300 Series 24" Recessed Handle Dishwasher with Stainless Steel Tub - Stainless steel. I have had my Bosch dishwasher for about a month. I had a great high end LG before: however, it did not last more than 5 years. This Bosch is so much quieter and is easy to operate. Can not believe how clean even on a short cycle. Love the rinse cycle and the extra shelf.

Our old dishwasher went out after 10+ years of service. We decided to upgrade to a Bosch unit. I decided on this one since it has the same decibel level and basic features as its more expensive counterparts. Overall I’m very happy with the unit. It is very quiet and does a good job. You can’t even tell it’s on. Build quality is pretty good but time will tell. But it did get the 5 year warranty just in case. My only complaint is that it doesn’t dry plastic items very well. All silverware and flatware dry fine.

This is an awesome dishwasher. I did months of extensive research looking for a super quiet machine and I could not be more pleased with the Bosch. My dishes come out cleaner than I’ve ever seen questioning what was the function of the previous dishwashers I owned. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed

Purchased this dishwasher to replace our loud dishwasher that came with our home (62db GE). I requested only delivery and did my own installation. I did purchase the installation kit but really didn't need anything other than a new water line which I could've bought from a hardware store. Once installed I ran a test rinse run and at first I didn't think it was powered on, that is until I heard the water draining through the air gap to the sink. The 3rd rack utensil tray is perfect for our larger utensils and have plenty of capacity for our dishes. One thing of note, I did not receive the free junction box that was supposed to be included with the washer but ultimately didn't need it because didn't have a hardwired connection and the supplied power cable was all we needed.

In less than 3 years I had to replace GE dishwasher - was falling apart inside - the water pump motor failed. Time to count my losses and move on. Bosch is by far the leader of best reviews. I did a lot of research took the plunge. My son and I were able to install this ourselves (outlet/water hoses were existing) and it was fairly easy. The arranging of bottom dishes is odd - but I will figure it out in time. I love the 3rd rack - must better than my previous GE 3rd rack. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because of the awful smell when the cycle is complete. I have had it about 3 weeks now - run the washer everyday - and the smell (much like something burning) is still there. I read many other reviews about this issues. If they could fix this issue - I would give 5 stars!

Very quiet and spotless dishes easy to use. Very pleased with the whole process.

I really love my Bosch dishwasher! I especially love the fact that I can lower the top rack. The third rack is perfect for my silverware and other small items like my snack cups and measuring cups. I also like the half load cycle. This dishwasher is so quiet that I can start it right after dinner. This is really great since our living room is right next to the kitchen. It is easy to load that even my young grandchildren can do it! Being able to fold down the racks for larger items is a plus. I removed one of the silverware holders since most of the silverware fits neatly on the third rack. I look forward to years of enjoyment!

This dishwasher is quiet, lots of wash options, lots of room and most importantly cleans well. The only negative is dishes don't dry fully even when using the rinse aid and selecting extra dry.

Wow, dishwashers have changed in 19 years :) This Bosch is great, more storage and much quieter than our old POC ! A normal cycle takes 2 hrs and 15 minutes.... that's 75 more minutes than our old machine, but they claim it saves water and electricity - we'll take it (if true). We like the control panel on the outside with digital red lights... no guessing if the machine is running because it's soooo darn quite. We've been running just over a month (25+ washes ?) and do not have any complaints. Shoutout to BestBuy and their install contractor. We purchased with free delivery and free install and both companies did not disappoint. Free was free, timely delivery/install and haul away of old unit with no mess behind was a pleasure to see !!! Thanks, we'll definitely do business again w/Best Buy !!!

Awesome appliance. Gets everything off, super quiet. Not the best drying system but that’s not an issue for us. Easy to use and looks excellent.

Love the three tiers. There is barely any noise when it’s running; it’s extreme quiet. I also like the red LEF display that tells you where the dishwasher is at in the process.

Everything about my purchase has been fabulous. Best Buy actually had the Bosch unit in stock before other retailers. The price at Best Buy was great and the installation process was a breeze. My installer did a wonderful job of installing and demonstrating the dishwasher. So far, the dishwasher performs tremendously well and the capacity and spacing options handle everything I have well.

Really a wonderful dishwasher, but for me plastic containers do not dry, which is frustrating. I haven’t read thoroughly all the instructions but perhaps plastic among other materials do not dry well and are specified? Very quiet. Fantastic silverware tray, 3rd tray, easy in/out. Moving from an LG, which lasted 14 years.

We had to replace a Frigidaire Gallery Dishwasher whose inlet solenoid quit working and hence would not fill. It was the third issue with it so we decided to replace it. Unfortunately it was the week before Christmas and with guests coming we could not afford to be without a dishwasher. The Bosch 300 had the best consumer reviews, met the counter height (23 3/4"), external buttons and delivery/installation date. Unfortunately the installers were useless and we landed up having to install it ourselves. Glad we got the dishwasher kit with the purchase from BB as it was necessary to complete the installation for this model. It is much quieter than the previous dishwasher and clearly displays the time left in the cycle. We like the recessed handle as well. It has three trays, the middle being adjustable so you can fit larger items in the bottom or middle as needed. The top most tray is limited to flat utensils. Anything taller will hit the top sprayer. The strainer is easy to remove and clean when necessary. Installation since had to do it ourselves was not to bad. It does come with a standard NEMA 5-15 plug to Bosch's special socket cord. So if you have an outlet/receptacle under your sink you will not need the Bosch hard wire cord option that is also available from BB. The cycles seem shorter than the Frigidaire. We got it in black which is gloss black which matches the rest of the appliances in the kitchen.

I will be 62 years old and I must say this is the best dishwasher I have ever owned! My wife made hummus, pancakes, and a host of other things one day. She put them in the dishwasher without rinsing. We use Cascade Platinum and Finish as recommended. The dishes were absolutely spotless and the silverware was absolutely sparkling clean. Although not the most expensive model, I would definitely spend the extra money on this one. Even my wife who was skeptical at the Price agrees that we got a great dishwasher! Highly recommend.

After less than 3 years our dishwasher died (won't name the brand) and they wanted $558 to fix it. We are so happy we choose not to as for less than $500 more we purchased this quiet and sturdy, with a large capacity and a third draw for utensil we just love. We had a Bosch for 12 years before the other brand that died after 3 years. Very happy back with Bosch.
