We had a 15 year old GE profile dishwasher that was part of the house when we bought it. After the control panel gave out and the home warranty ( Service Plus) took more than a month to replace the panel (and still hasn’t) we jumped at the Black Friday opportunity to get the Bosch ( highest rated) dishwasher with a pretty nice incentive. The washing of this machine is definitely of another order. Especially the glasses come out much shinier and the plastic containers are dry … what a nice surprise. Even the very low noise ( can’t really hear it at all) and the low energy consumption ~$43/ year!! if I recall correctly are great. The little light on the floor that shows it is running and when it is done is a nice/cool gimmick but the third drawer and adjustable heights of the 2nd and 3rd racks are something I didn’t know I needed until I had it and now wouldn’t know what to do without it. All in all very happy customer Best Buy and Bosch!

Excellent dishwasher! I was skeptical at first because I really enjoyed my Siemens dishwasher that lasted 19.5 years and did not want to give it up as it had NEVER broken down plus still looked brand new. I am now a believer in this high end model after having used it for the last few weeks. At first I hated the new silverware rack up on top but now I truly enjoy loading it. I appreciate that some of the tines fold down to accommodate loading easier on the top and lowest rack. Crystal Dry is amazing. Also, the time left in a cycle projected on to the floor is helpful. Overall, an A+ for this model!

Great dishwasher—quiet and efficient. We waited too long to purchase this dishwasher!

So far so good. I do like the silverware drawer on top. It seems to dry well considering that it doesn't have a heating coil. That said, it does take 2.5 hours to run a normal cycle. I assume that's pretty standard with new dishwashers. I love the projected time and really love how smooth the racks are with the bearings in this model. Is it worth the extra cost? To me it is but likely to many the 800 is fine and probably on sale. I will also add that for the first load I purposely did not clean any gunk off the plates or silverware and everything came out spotless.

Purchased to replace old 800 series dishwasher (finally broke down after 12 years of excellent use). Upside: extremely quiet, cleans very well, good and flexible controls. Overall excellent dishwasher, with some limitations. Downside: despite nominally the same interior size as its predecessor (800 series) the effective capacity is lower. Less efficient arrangement of the racks does not allow for optimal space use, requiring more runs for the same amount of dishes - wasteful. Also the silverware basket is much decreased (half size compared to old 800 series), additionally spacers in it are too small for most of standard size silverware, further limiting its usability. Thus 4/5 rating.

Bosch Benchmark Dishwasher is pretty awesome. The experience with Store purchase, arrangement for installation, actually installation and operation of new dishwasher has been fabulous. The product is super quiet; and dishes come out fabulous. The added features of a light, water softener, Crystal dry, etc worth it. Best Buy was only retailer in SWFL, that had the "Benchmark on Display" and resources at the Store in Sarasota were phenomenal.

I love this dishwasher. It’s the best one I’ve ever owned. It’s quiet and cleans incredibly well. All of the parts feel extremely well made and heavy duty. It was expensive but it’s worth it if you can splurge. After having a lot of so so dishwashers, this one feels like a luxury.

My previous Bosch SilencePlus with 40 db was much quieter and also came with free installation and Dishwasher Accessory Kit SMZ5000 included. Don't haul your old dishwasher before saving these accessories as it costs another $29 (promotional value or more expensive individually). Timelight is cool. App is flaky and took a while to setup. Internal light is pretty useful too. Not sure if roller racks are really premium as they are the same except wheels. No color choices for. Waited a while and it never went on sale, even for Labor day, given it is new and expensive. Gave 4 as my last Bosch was good experience though it gave Watertap and E.24 repeatedly while it lasted 10+ years. Hope this will be long lasting. Only time will tell.

Positives: Dishes always come out clean, even baked on macaroni and cheese. Extremely quiet, barely can tell it is running, need to check if the time remaining is being projected on the floor. Automatic cycle works great. The one negative is trying to get the dishwasher connected to the app. The user guide plus stickers and inserts really pushes to connect it to the app, but it is a complicated process that i never got working after spending 20 minutes following all the steps. Not really necessary, other than to check time remaining from the couch.

[Employee of bestbuy] DEDUCT ONE STAR FOR STUPIDLY OBVIOUS OVERSIGHT - If you live by yourself probably a non issue but if you are in a busy family it is a major annoyance; no easy way to glance at the dishwasher and tell if it is dirty or clean once the cycle has completed. Stunned that when everything is so carefully thought out they missed the stupidly simple idea of a simple LED on the control panel or the door to make it clear the contents have been washed. We pre-rinse to increase the longevity of the washer since treating it like a garbage disposal shortens the life span and increases the need for filter maintenance. That makes it less obvious if the load has been run with a quick visual glance. An LED light would be very helpful in this household. Tempted to remove another star for too many gimmicks. App control is nice but adds more things to break since the whole thing is digital. Did not though because it heats its own water with an internal heater, and has its own water softener. A big deal here because our last washer died early because of hardwater destroying the heating element and two pumps. We also like the extra top rack for utensils and it really does clean well. Nice to get reminders on the app when the water softener salt, or the rinse liquid levels get low and need attention. NOTE: Because it is digital and these usually plug in adjacent to the garbage disposal which can generate significant voltage spikes, as well as background electrical noise from things like fans and air conditioners, a good surge protector with filtering would be a great idea to help extend the life of the digital panel and other digital controls in the washer. Overall it is a really nice washer and we are hoping the extra cost translates to a long life.

Well made dishwasher with terrific cleaning performance. Crystal Dry will dry everything but some of the plastics but certainly on par. I really like not having a heating element at the bottom. Cleaning is superb. Have used Meile before and was unsure if Bosch would clean as well. You will not be disapointed with the Bosch. I've put dried on food through this thing without soaking or prewashing. It cleans it all without issue. It is very quiet and would need a silent room to notice it's on. As far as the benchmark vs 800, I got mostly for softener and ball bearing racks. However, the lights and floor timer I have found to be alot more useful than I thought would be. I run this twice a day for a family of 8.

This dishwasher wasn't cheap, but I don't regret the purchase one bit. Can barely here it run and it has so many great features. Great at drying dishes.

Cleans very well and so quiet. Our kitchen is open to dining and kicing rooms and our old dishwasher could be heard, this one cannot be heard at all.

This dishwasher is outstanding, very quiet. The machine itself is made of very high quality material.

We've had the dishwasher for almost a month, and it runs great, is quiet, and cleans well. For the price and all of the features, it lacks the ability for the user to program in a longer or "Crystal Dry" program into the 60 minute wash program. Just because I want to use the short program for a small load or relatively clean dishes, why should the user not be able to make sure the dishes come out dry? Without Crystal Dry, the inside of the tub and the dishes are not usually dry and require some drying when you take them ouf of the dishwasher, later. Also, this machine would probably also achieve even better drying if the door popped open a bit at the end of the drying cycle. Still, it does a good job with the longer cycles and my wife likes it, as well.

Great Dishwasher; best we've had in any of our 3 homes. It has the most thoughtful features incl. an inside light and a light that shines on the floor that tells the time left until completion. The loading pattern is convenient & efficient & it is so quiet one doesn't know if it is still on if it were not for the floor yimer light. And its cleaning is supurb. Best Buy's installation was flawless.

Beautiful top-of-the-line Bosch dishwasher. Excellent build quality and extremely quiet! You won’t be disappointed. And Best Buy is the “best!”

Abdolutrly love the Bosch Benchmark dushwashet, its so quiet & love that all the nottom rack tines are adjustable which makes it easier maneuvering while placing all dishes,

love this dishwasher! the third rack, the interior lighting, and the extra smooth ball bearings add value to what can be expected with a Bosch dishwasher. if you are in a position to treat yourself, do it. You won't regret it!
