Bought this for my husband who flys a 737 and he said the headset works great and he feels like it’s protecting his ear drums, it definitely blocks out all the loud noises. It’s like night and day the difference.

I am a Certified Flight Instructor. I wear this headset in both single engine and multi-engine piston aircraft for anywhere between 6-8 hours per day. I think this headset is a very good fit for anyone who is in the general aviation world. It has a very comfortable fit that does not clamp down excessively which is great for long days in the aircraft. The digital noise cancelling does a great job of muffling engine noise to a level that you can easily hear comms as well as have good communication with anyone else in the aircraft but still allows you to clearly hear engine tone when making a power change which is a huge benefit. The Bluetooth function has not failed me yet. Both music and phone calls are easy to manage with several settings to choose from (muting or mixing Bluetooth when a radio transmission comes through a comms frequency). One thing to note is that I would recommend sunglasses with relatively thin frames. There is not much give in the earmuffs so they do not form around a thick glasses frame which can cause can open space between your head and the muff allowing engine noise in. Thin frames are a non issue. I love this headset and would recommend it to anyone!

We ordered this and the new LightSpeed Zulu 4 to compare. The noise cancelling and comfort on the A30 is better than the Zulu 4. Went to order a 2nd set and they are out of stock *sad*

only thing i wish is they specified these are the non bluetooth version and i definitely would have gotten the version with bluetooth if i could go back and fix it.

Excellent product from Bose for pilots. It's great to get the zero percent interest from Best Buy to pay off this essential, but expensive gear for pilots.

Have used it a handful of times in flight. Makes the Cabin super silent
