I am thoroughly impressed so far. Packaging is simplistic and straight to the point with two peel back tabs that let you inside. From there, you will see the NCH 700's case which was smaller than I thought because they don't fold up like the QC35II's. The case fits in my work bag just fine. However, I do have say it's not as small overall as the QC35II's case. The NCH 700 case has a little magnetic flap inside that stores the audio and USB-C cable. No airplane adapter. Thank you Bose for going USB-C with the NCH 700's. What's left is manuals and warranty cards. The feel of the NCH 700's is nice. It's a streamlined design that grew on me and looks very modern. Weight is slightly more than the QC35II's. Build quality is significantly superior with more metals being used and most importantly, the comfort is similar. I would maybe give the slight edge to the QC35II in comfort due to the lower weight, but the NCH 700's is still a very comfortable headphone. The headband adjustment is smooth and should accommodate a wide variety of head sizes just fine. Ear-cup openings is similar to the QC35II with the left and right labels inside the ear cups for easy notation on how to put the headphones on. Controls are great and I can say the touch controls are very responsive and intuitive. Swipe up for volume increase. Swipe down for volume decrease. Swipe forward for the next track. Swipe backward for the previous track. Double tap to play and pause. Tap once to accept and incoming call. Tap and hold to reject the call. Tap and hold to go to a shortcut predefined in the app. The current shortcut available was to have the voice prompt alert you of the current battery life in which she tells you the estimated time until the battery is dead. There's 3 dedicated buttons on the NCH 700's. The two on the right is responsible for Power on/Bluetooth pairing and voice assistance/mute mic. The one on the left is to cycle between the 3 preset noice cancelling modes defined with the app. The right earpiece houses the USB-C port and the left earpiece houses the audio input port. The app provides a lot of functionality control. You can on the fly scroll though the noise cancelling/ambient modes from 0-10. 0 being like having no headphones on at all and 10 being in your own little acoustical chamber. You can launch Bose AR apps and experience augmented reality with he NCH 700's. Pretty cool. You can select the sources that are connected and add a new source or remove an existing source. The NCH 700 can connect to up to 2 devices at once. You can set your voice assistant between Siri, Google Assistant or Alexa. You can set how much of your voice is heard during phone calls or voice assistant interaction. If you're familiar with the QC35II's Bose Connect app, it's pretty much similar settings you can control. Sound on the NCH 700's is clean, open and balanced. No frequency really stands out so you get an accurate representation of your music. I would say they sound similar to the QC35II but with a tighter bass. The Sony WH1000Xm3 has this false stigma that they sound superior to the QC35II but that's because the Sony's accentuate the bass frequencies which to the untrained ear is more exciting and pleasing. This is not a better sound, it's a different sound that is not accurate to the source material. The Bose sounds more accurate, more like being in the studio. A flat sound will not sound exciting to everyone especially those with untrained ears. Sound is subjective overall so you can't go wrong with what you enjoy listening to. I really enjoy the NCH 700's sound. It's a smooth and clear sound that plays well with all genres. If you want a lot of bass, look elsewhere towards the Sony's. Noise cancelling is insanely good on the NCH 700's. Probably the best I've experience, but honestly, the Sony WH1000Xm3 set the bar so high in terms of noise cancellation that the NCH 700 doesn't really wow me. I think they are about as equally good, but the NCH 700 takes the cake because I don't get those distortion artifacts when the ANC pressure within the ear cups is disrupted from sudden vibrations to the headphones that plagues the Sony WH1000XM3. For example this is caused by being on a bus while on a bumpy road or running with your headphones on. The ambient mode is very natural feeling on the NCH 700 and it's great being able to have awareness while listening to audio in situations where you don't want to blocked completely from the world. Wish it had the Sony's right hand palm over the ear cup feature where it seamlessly kicks in ambient sound and lowers the music volume so you can quickly hear someone or something and then once your hand leaves the right ear cup, everything reverts back to normal. The mains reason the new NCH 700's are the new ANC headphone kings is the voice mic quality on calls and interacting with your voice assistant. It's amazing how clear your voice is projected onto the other line while using the NCH 700. These are killer for conference calls even if you dare take them in the middle of Times Square, NYC. Overall, the NCH 700 is a welcome evolution to the Bose headphone line up and I'm sure these will win the hearts of many. Highly recommended!

Design/build: The design is polarizing with a minimalist and modern look. The earcups are plastic with synthetic leather earpads. Headband is steel with silicone padding and silicone covering the top. Some minor marring/scratches do occur at the adjustment point of the headband and earcups. Comfort: The padding on the earcups and headband provide ample cushioning without getting too hot. The clamping force on the headband is stronger. You will also notice the added weight compared to the QC35II. ANC: I find that the ANC is really good but I don't find it any better the WH-1000XM3 or the QC35II. I do like that you adjust the ANC level from 0-10 (hear through-max). I also did not observe white noise or cabin pressure. ANC performance did well in windy environments. Sound: It sounds the same as the QC35II. The sound is clear but lacks detail, dynamic range is reduced as you increase volume, soundstage lacks depth. There is a delay between the video and sound, but not too noticeable. Headphone use SBC and AAC audio codecs, no Hi-res codecs such as LDAC or APTX HD Controls: I do like that they separated the ANC and assistant buttons. Touch controls on right earcup work well however I feel that the touch area is too small and that the headband interferes with its function. Mic/calls: Great improvement in the sound quality. One of the best headphones for making calls. Connection: No Bluetooth issues when connected with PC and Android phone. Did not observe stutters while playing music or video. You can connect two devices at the same time. App: New Bose app for controlling ANC levels, updating firmware or as a controller for your media. Currently you cannot control your EQ with app. You do need a Bose account to utilize. Recommendation: Overall the headphones provide great features and convenience. It works well as an ANC headphones and is excellent for making calls. If you are looking for something with better sound, it's not there. At $400, I cannot recommend these when there are other competing headphones that provide the same or better performance at a lower price.

I initially went to Best Buy about a month ago to buy the Sony 1000 MX3 noise canceling headphones that were on sale. I had heard about the Bose 700s and knew they would be coming out at the end of June, but didn’t expect Best Buy to have demo units in store when I went. Having a chance to handle and listen to both pair I was sold on the Bose. I loved the look and feel of the 700s compared to its competitors and the QC35s, the aluminum head band just gives it a higher quality feel in my opinion. The MX3s had taken the crown as the best noise canceling headphones from the QC35s ( at least according to all the reviews of them) but with the 700s, Bose have regained that crown! With Bluetooth 5.0 you can have them connected to two devices at once, so you can be watching a movie on your iPad and when a call comes in on your phone the video will pause and the call from your phone will come thru. And watching videos using these there’s no latency issues with audio and video being out of sync. If I have one knock, it would be the app, it could use more features such as EQ controls. Also when I turn the headphones off they won’t reconnect with the app unless I delete them and reconnect them, I can still use them with my device but I don’t have any of the app controls. I’m sure Bose will remedy this with an update to the app. While competition is hot in this market right now, the Bose 700 are the new king at this point!

I was bouncing between the Sony WF-1000XM3 and Bose ANC headphones. The Sony’s definitely have more bass versus the Bose ANC between the 2 were almost the same (especially when while listening to music which it was designed for). Features I like the most: 1. Mic noise cancellation. I ride the train everyday and compared the NC on the iPhone XS versus the Bose. While both filtered out the trains basic noise, the one thing IPhone didn’t do well was the voice over the intercom from the train conductor. Person on the other end said it was loud, while with the Bose it reduced the conductors voice (could still hear it, but wasn’t super loud). 2. More neutral sound. Features I dislike 1. Build feels cheaper than the Sony’s 2. High price 3. I’m bald so it appears to be lacking cushion for the headband versus the Sony’s. But, I’m a Bose fanboy so.... But, I am pre-ordering the Sony WF-1000XM3’s for the gym, walking, etc.

A bit bulky but phenomenal over ear headphones! They are super comfy, but I don’t recommend wearing while exercising or for super long periods of time bc they make your ears sweat like mad! They are truly noise canceling with easy tap features. I don’t use these very often so the battery lasts me months! I recently used them after about 2-3 months and still had a 16 hour charge. It does also come with a cord to use with an audio jack if you’d prefer to save the battery. Overall, I’m still super pleased with these headphones!

I wear these headphones every day and i honestly love them. The only issue ive found is if youre a snapchat/tiktok/instagram user, occasionally audio will cut out on your recorded videos & you'll have to reshoot them. The only other "issue" is sometimes theyll play/pause when theyre around my neck due to the tap sensor sitting against my collar bones (pictured below) Other than that, they charge fast, noise cancel very well, and are super comfortable all while giving great full sound :)

Wow !!! The 700’s are in my opinion the BEST noise cancellation headphones! I have had several over the years including Bose, and these are by far superior for sure. Not just the excellent cancellation but sound as well . Then there is the awesome touch features! If you can afford to spend a bit more $ definitely do it well worth it ! Added plus they’re super comfy even with a hat on .

BOSE sound is STILL the Best sound out there. I checked out the noise canceling effect by turning the volume on the headset pretty low and I turned the soundbar on my television set very high. I also turned on my Nest Hub Max Netflix movie on the highest volume which was right next to me and my headphones and I couldn't hear anything except what was coming out of the headphones! So they do actually cancel out any other noise except for the ones coming out of the headset. I also noticed the plush, soft cushioning upon the ears that makes you not ever want to take them off! The headband is fully adjustable. There is a complete kit within the box which includes a nice zipper case to store the headphones and when not in use, a sturdy power cord, an extra Bluetooth connectivity cord Plus a cleaning cloth which really comes in handy if you buy the silver pair that I did! It sounds like you're in a concert. People can be yelling at you fairly close to you when you're taking a call and those sounds are blocked out! Not only does Best buy have a great warranty for these but you also have the BOSE warranty with all of their products that you buy! It's a win-win situation you simply can't go wrong and the best money I believe I've ever spent. The headband is fully adjustable whether you have a tiny head or a big fat watermelon head you'll be totally comfortable. Google News number one article for a week ran that the best price for these particular headsets were the least expensive at Best buy, my favorite retail store without exception!

The most comfortable pair of headphones I have ever owned. Not only do they no make my ears hurt, but the quality is so crisp and clear. I used them for quite literally anything! The battery life is ridiculous, I use them for a week without having to charge, I definitely recommend

I’ve had these Bose headphones for 1.5 years. The noise cancellation works well. It helps me to focus on work minimizing distractions. They are comfortable wearing for long periods and the sound quality is good. Battery life is 15 hours and I can go a 2-3 days without needing to charge.

Best headphones ever! I love how they can be used in Wired mode too. Battery live is impressive, noise cancelling is unmatched, and comfort is more than acceptable. Coming from Airpods Max, I would definitely say that Bose tops all!

Great value for a high-end noise cancelling headphone. Noise cancelling is top notch, and the battery lasts for long haul or back-to-back flights without recharging. The earmuffs and head band have a soft, comfortable feel.

Purchased these earphones for work purposes (remote video conference, etc). Right out of the box they look great, they feel solid due to the metal frame and... Didn't warm my ears while attending meetings. Battery life is approximately 20 hours. The only downside (if it can be considered that way) is that Bose doesn't really have an Apple store app for Mac, which limits my ability to reduce the noise cancellation features, but at the same time noise cancellation works extremely well on them, which at the same time allows me to hear audio clearly, without increasing the volume.

What a great upgrade. Bought these for my husband who had been using a pair of Bose QuietComfort Q45s for years. Wow, what a difference in both the sound quality AND the noise-canceling feature. Pairing them was so easy (my husband who doesn't do "tech" was able to connect these to his phone in less than 60 seconds. These are much more comfortable and adjust easily. Great buy and worth every cent. Bose makes exceptional headphones.

I bought these headphones to use at my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitions. My Sony Extra Bass headphones had broke so I needed to replace with these. The headphones are awesome and I love the noise cancelling works awesome. I dont hear any noise in the background at the arena's where i compete or any people in the crowd cheering. The sound quality is very crisp and the Alexa that is built in with mic button is a really awesome feature when I train at the gym. I can easily switch music by just talking to headphones. I highly recommend because they are worth the price! They also come with a nice hard carrying case to protect them when traveling. Very useful because I travel International to compete. The headphones are very comfortable and they have a luxury feel and look to them. Definitely made well.

I needed a good noise canceling headphone. As i travel a lot and i need to drown out the noises and sounds around me so i could just enjoy a peaceful and tranquil environment. To be honest the Bose® - Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 - Luxe Silver Have certainly lived up to the hype I was blown away so much so i use them everyday. The sound is clean and oh so realistic you hear every detail. The fit is tight and well seated I am yet to experience any ear fatigue while wearing these headphones as for the price its well worth it. So here is my take get these headphones and immerse yourself in a world of audio bliss and enjoy music and movies the way they were meant to be. Ps. You should also download the Bose connect app to really utilize all that this headphone has to offer.

The Bose Headphones 700 Wireless are comfortable, well-built noise cancelling over-ears. They have an outstanding ANC feature that can easily block out background noises like bus and plane engines, and their long continuous battery life (20hrs) is suitable for long days on-the-go. Unfortunately, they don't have any sound customization features, and their touch-sensitive control scheme isn't always the easiest to use. That said, their integrated microphone has a good recording quality that makes them a great choice for phone calls, as well. Keep up the good work, Bose!

Recommend these headphones to anyone who likes the sound of Bose products they are very comfortable and you definitely cannot hear anyone talking to you if they are even sitting right next to you without tapping you on the shoulder you will not know that they're speaking to you if it is at the noise cancellation volume 10
