I recently purchased the Bose New SoundLink Flex Portable Bluetooth Speaker (2nd Gen), and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. I love Bose as a company and love their products! I’ve had top notch customer support when I’ve had to reach out. This was my second soundlink flex to do stereo mode. I will admit that setting stereo mode up is kind of funky as the app gets confused, I think, then again maybe I’m just not setting it up right. However, if you hold the Bluetooth and volume up buttons on one then Bluetooth and volume down on the another that will put them into party mode then pick one to press Bluetooth and volume up on again and they will go into stereo mode each speaker will then tell you which one is the left or right speaker. Great working in the yard or poolside. They are also a nice size not too big and not too small. While I think some may find them a bit bass heavy it’s not all that bad and even at low volumes you can hear quite a bit. I usually have them low as I live in a townhouse and even as high as mid level volume I don’t think many neighbors would complain as the sound can also seem very directional. I notice that as long as they are pointing to where you want sound to go they sound fantastic but seem a bit lost in other areas. Kind of isolated in a way. As for Bose custom support, I can’t say enough about it. I had a pair of QC earbuds that I had for just about a year. They stopped charging and I went through all the troubleshooting I could find. After about 2-3 months of trying to get them to magically work again I called Bose. I didn’t have to say much other then I tried all troubleshooting beforehand. They just had me send them my broken pair and since the QC earbuds 2 had just come up I was upgraded at no extra charge to them.

Love this product! It’s has great sound quality and there are features that’s I didn’t really know it had like being able to connect with multiple devices on one speaker for a shared music experience. It packs some really great sound and base for those who love that boom boom. I recommend to all who want to carry something around as compact with great quality! It’s also very durable and well made!

3 weeks of ownership and I'm using this more than expected. Sound is great, better than I thought. Bass is better than expected for this type of speaker. For some reason the Bluetooth connection and features are better than any other speaker I've used in the past. It's more intuitive. If I'm listening to music and get a call, it will pause the music and allow me to take the call on my phone, not automatically transfer the call to the speaker like others do (I prefer to take calls on the phone). Battery lasts a long time and charges quickly. Indoors it's definitely louder than expected, I don't dare turning it up all the way. I use it to connect to my surface for teleconferences as it's louder than my built in speakers. You won't be disappointed.

I rarely post reviews, but the Bose Soundlink Flex deserves a good review. I took a gamble with this as I thought I wanted the Sonos Roam, but I’m so glad I went with the Bose as the sound is fuller, gets louder, and you can slightly feel a little bass punch in your chest (it’s still a Bluetooth speaker, so don’t think it’ll rattle your lungs). If you’re thinking about getting the Bose Soundlink Revolve/Revolve+, don’t bother and get two of these instead - a stereo pair of Flexes will sound so much better and is $30 cheaper than one Revolve+. My mom listened to it and she was so enamored by it that I had to get her one for Christmas. You will not regret this purchase and you might find yourself wanting a few more! Heads up, there’s one speaker and one radiator for bass, there’s no L/R separation - it still sounds great as a singular speaker, but you will love having a stereo pair. This speaker puts out even better sounds than my beats pill which I was replacing after 12 years of use. I love how much bass and punch this device packs especially while being so handheld. Its nice too that it will audibly say how much power is left every time you turn it on. I highly recommend this. Also not that looks should matter but it does have a rather stylish color lilac that I love.

I have a turntable in my home that I prefer to connect to a Bluetooth speaker so that I can move the speaker with me wherever I go @ home. That being said, I didn’t want anything to big and bulky but that has excellent sound quality. This little BOSE speaker checks all the boxes for me. Sound quality is amazing for its size. It has very nice and filling bass while pushing clear highs and clean mids. I really like this speaker. It sounds bigger/louder than it looks. It has great range, so I can move it around the whole place and never lose connection. It’s dust and weather resistant, so I also bring it out onto the balcony with us so we can enjoy our records. Battery life is very good. Only need to charge it about once a week if I use it everyday. It’ll work great with mobile phones, tablets or laptops also, but mine is a dedicated turntable speaker. It sounds good enough for me! I would buy it again, and highly recommend this speaker to anyone looking for a great sounding, take anywhere Bluetooth speaker.

I absolutely love my Bose Flex Soundlink Bluetooth portable speaker! I previously had a JBL portable Bluetooth speaker but it died. The Bose speaker was on sale for the same price as the JBL and I’ve always wanted a Bose speaker so I thought I’d give it a try. The Bose Bluetooth speaker has a rich sound that fills the room. It’s waterproof and dust proof. I even purchased the carrying case for it. I also tried using the Bose speaker in my car because the factory speakers in my little car do not sound great. It works wonderfully there as well! I’m very pleased with the overall performance and ease of connecting to my devices. I am one happy customer.

Great little speaker, I think this little speaker has amazing sound - but of course it does, it’s a Bose. This speaker is about 8x3x1.5 inches. Volume is pretty darn good also. I can’t say much yet about battery life, but I’ve played it for at least an hour and it says 70% charged still. I’d definitely buy it again.

Bose for this price, I would highly recommend. Sounds amazing even outside working in an open area. Lots of clear crisp bose sound indoors with bass. Mostly used outside over the past year and it has been rained on, Left outside in the hot summer sun, Dropped several times and it still works like new.

Great sound and they did it in a small but attractive package. Bose is know for high quality speakers headphones etc. This is nothing different the sound is crisp clean and complete. The speaker gets loud but maintans the sound quality. About the only negative is battery life but it does charge quickly via USB-c so no problems hunting for proprietary cables. Over all im pleased and can confidently recommend.

Bose sound quality is unmatched and i find the deep green aesthetically appealing hyperdrive status. I love listening to everything from Yelawolf to the Cocteau Twins on this speaker quite proudly. Its water resistance and relatively beak proof design are plus factors i never knew could be paired perfect with premium sound and volume. (Bird likes Bettie Davis Eyes). Female vocals pop in the sound realm quite sensationally.

These are a great choice for a mini water resistant speaker. If you buy a clip, off market it will be a great to clip on to your bag back or hang it somewhere in the kitchen or in the bathroom. For the size it packs a punch and loud enough to hear for one whole 300sq ft room. It is decent though have when you are in close proximity outdoors as well. The lows are smooth and not crunchy, the right amount of boom. The mids are great too. The highs lacks a bit of the texture however not bad for an average listeners appetite.

After heavy research on competitors(mainly jbl and soundcore), I decided to go with the Bose since it sounded the best to me and people generally agreed it was superior. I’ve been using it for a few months now, and it’s a phenomenal speaker for its size. I didn’t expect it to pack this much punch, comparing it to prior Bluetooth speakers I’ve owned. Don’t get me wrong this doesn’t have an 10” woofer that’s about to rock your house, but it can definitely fill a bedroom and is perfect for background listening. Don’t expect it to sound phenomenal if you crank it up tho. Most of the bass disappears at about 85-90% volume, however this is pretty loud and I have almost never needed it up that loud. Do note, I think they came out with a gen 2 of this speaker. I don’t really know anything about it, so maybe do some research before you immediately buy it to see if it’s worth the extra cost. I’m happy with mine and have no intentions of upgrading.

My goal was to live by the following credo: All Bose, All the Time. I have some sort of Bose speaker in almost every room. And, I like to start my day with my favorite music. When I learned about the SoundLink Flex, I had to get it to replace the bluetooth speaker that was previously in the shower. Don't get me wrong. That speaker was fine, but it wasn't a Bose. The Flex is the perfect size to fit on the shower shelf and it sounds fantastic – even with the water running! I like to sing along in the shower and the mid-range vocals are strong and clear. There are certainly portable speakers that are less expensive, but I believe there are portable speakers that are better than this Soundlink Flex Portable Bluetooth Speaker.

Perfect small Bluetooth speaker with great sound quality, connectivity to multiple devices and ease of use. I take it everywhere and have one in my office.

Where do I even begin with this speaker? Of course buying a Bose product I knew immediately I was getting a good item. I compared this to the B&O Explore & the Bose Flex blew that “Speaker” right out of the water instantly. Bass is solid, mids are great & treble is awesome. Everything is even & doesn't distort in high volumes. Sound fills the whole room wherever I go. If you are looking for a good portable speaker for under $200, without a question this is the one to get. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed.
