I needed a blue tooth speaker to take on the front porch, got a Sony boom box for the summer. You can't beat this, it is amazing to hear the deep bass along with the balanced mid range and high notes. I take it to work and am able to play it low and it delivers excellent sound as well. No regrets!

Take it everywhere. Has great sound. I use Pandora and YouTube and it makes for quick music enjoyment!

After listening to the Bose Soundlink II i was sure i wanted one, but when I put the Soundlink mini next to it and used the same music off the same device then the decision was easy. The Mini in my opinion had better sound, I also love the small form factor. As with all Bose products the sound is just amazing and it's actually hard to believe it until you hear it. The sound is balanced from Mozart to the Dead Kennedy's the small form factor reproduces the sound at the highest level. I was amazed at the battery life, i get way more than 8 hours on average to loud settings. The charging base is a nice addition and makes recharging every night easy. One thing that was a plus for me was the smaller size then the bigger soundlinks. All aluminum case makes for a beefy weight on the mini, and it gives it a nice look sitting next to my mac mini on my desk. I highly recommend the mini!

Prior to get this speaker, I read a lot of reviews. Then bought it online, thinking that I should be aware that the sound described by others couldn't be as good as they said, for a matter of size. I was surprised when I played a Jamiroquai deep-bass song. Believe me, it won't fill a living room, but it's an awesome producto to enjoy music on a counter or table among friends.

The Bose Soundlink Mini has excellent sound and great for taking anywhere.

Purchased a cover for my new Bose Mini Soundlink Speaker. Great Quality - great product. Tight fit which makes it a little hard to install but just follow the included instructions. Once it is on, it works great. Really looks good and I feel like my speaker is well protected in case something bad should happen. Highly recommend!

i bought two of them and neither works with blue tooth and i told a lot of friends to buy one too from best buy good sound but does anyone else have problem with blue tooth?

When I bought this speaker I was looking for something portable and something that would play my music loud and clearly. The store I went to had quiet a few speakers on display so I played around. My testing song was Renegade by Styx when I got the the Bose...WOW! I was done looking, took it the register and haven't stopped playing on it since. It's a small speaker but works great for parties! It connects easily with every device I've tried and the battery lasts about 4-5hrs of LOUD play longer if I'm using it at a lower volume of course. My only bit of negative press is it comes with a charging dock that I can't get the hang of I never place the speaker on right...but that's a minor issue since you can just plug directly into the speaker.

I originally had the Beats Pill which was absolutely horrible. The sound quality was not great, and the Bluetooth connectivity was so bad that if your device wasn't sitting right next to the speaker it would drop connection. The Bose Soundlink Mini is truly a work of art. Not only does it have a classic design, the sound quality is exactly what you would expect from Bose - perfection. The Bluetooth connection never drops and the battery life is incredible. I've never had the unit run out of battery even when using it for hours at a time while entertaining guests. Plus it's lightweight and portable! If you can't tell...I'm in love. Definitely a great purchase.

Did my research before purchasing this. Read up on reviews on many other portable speakers and even went to best buy to listen to a few. None compared to this Bose, the sound is amazing and crisp. Good bass and clear sound. I also bought the plastic case which is a must if you are investing in such a great product. I've used it out by the pool and in my apt. Charge holds well, can listen for hours without needing a charge. The Bluetooth tech is so easy to use. I play pandora on it all the time. I love it!!

Bose! name says everything. This is a best choice for you if you want wireless sound system and want to carry it wherever you go. Bluetooth: The Bluetooth is very good. I tried to connect this device through IPhone 5S, Nexus 4, Nexus 5 and Samsung S2 (India model). I connected smoothly. Sound: Sound of this device is very good. Bose is always a best choice if you want to have a good sound quality. Volume: Volume is awesome. I put this device on high volume in my apartment and I can hear it from outside. Not good for neighbors if they get annoyed with music. Just kidding. Battery: This device comes with chargeable battery which last for long time. I didn't test its battery but so far so good. Weight: This device is quite heavy and if you want to travel overseas then it definitely will increase the weight of your luggage. This is why I cut 1 star . Overall this is good product to buy. Best thing to have.

This speaker was the obvious choice for me after I had compared it to the other bluetooth speakers in it's price range like the JBL Charge and the Beats Pill. But what really blew me away was the astounding amount of bass produced from this incredibly small system. This one feature sets this speaker far beyond it's competitors. So how does Bose do it? It comes down to three important factors that you don't get from other systems at this size. The first component that adds such bass is the shear surface area given to the woofers on the dock. The front and back is almost completely covered by woofer inside the grill. The passive radiators really enable the two drivers to dish out all they have and extend the low frequency response. The second feature that seems to add bass is what Bose is notorious for doing and is deceptive but completely genius. At normal listening levels and more quiet listening levels, Bose will automatically eq's the bass higher to give you a more full sound, but then as you turn up the volume the bass levels off to protect the woofers. Bose has been doing this for years in it's speaker systems and it's always set them apart from their competitors in portable audio. The third and final defining feature that helps dish out the bass is something I just recently noticed. The way this thing is built is completely oriented around resonation with whatever surface this monster sits on. It is very dense and heavy but the base of the enclosure is made out of a strange, thick rubber that not only grips onto the surface it sits on, but also passes vibrations from the speakers to the surface very efficiently. But what does this mean for sound quality? It means that the bass can resonate extremely well on whatever surface you place it on. If you set the Soundlink Mini on a solid oak table in the corner of a room, the bass is going to smack you square in the face. This doesn't mean there is significantly less bass when you pick it up off of the given surface, I'm just saying it's another factor that adds to the intensity of full sound that you simply don't get with other speakers in this range or hardly anywhere in docks. Now I've only talked about bass because it is very hard to achieve a full sound with something this size, but trust me, this thing doesn't lack anywhere else. The highs are surprisingly good for Bose's standards but that's simply because the speakers are practically the size of tweeters already. My only gripe in sound quality, is that the mid is lost at a decent distance with this speaker, but a full sounding midrange is literally impossible with the given size of these speakers. The mid bass punch will carry surprisingly far along with the highs. This thing will fill up any room with sound in your average house. The battery life is surprising on the Soundlink Mini; it'll go the distance. Bose didn't mess around with the battery on this bad boy. It's got your standard bluetooth, which can be a little screwy at times but you're going to encounter the same issues with any bluetooth device. I fell in love with this thing whenI listened to my friend’s Soundlink Mini. I got my hands on it for a whole day and played my own music, I was laughing at how incredible it sounded. It continued to surprise me song after song, yet it is so little. You can practically put this thing in a baggy pocket and go anywhere with it. It is absolutely gorgeous in person. Very modern look with the brushed aluminum, which matches the Mac brushed aluminum nicely. I think it’s the best looking speaker on the market for it’s range. If you need something portable don't waste your time looking into other brands, Bose did their research and absolutely crushed the competition here.

I was listening to several bluetooth speakers on display at Best Buy and comparing the sound. The Bose SoundLink Mini caught my attention immediately. The bass output was impressive for such a compact speaker. Battery life is also good and being portable, it's great for traveling.
