I've used and own several other sets of Bose earbuds and headphones and I've loved all of them. The Sport Open Earbuds are a very different concept in bud technology. Being open ear means they are meant to allow you to be able to hear your surroundings easily while still allowing you to connect with your music. Perfect for a gym environment or walking down the street where you need to remain connected to the world around you. They are lightweight and extremely comfortable. They can be worn for a long time and you forget you even have them on. The design allows them to be used by pretty much anyone with ears and they're easy to put on without much effort. That being said, and certainly because of the open air nature of this style of earbud, they sound exceptionally thin. Something I'm not at all used to from Bose. They clip onto each ear with the basic, easy to find buttons on the rear portion and the speakers on the front. The drivers themselves do not go into your ear canal at all, rather they sit just to the rear of the canals, but inside the body of your ear. The thing that always bothers me about this type of earbud is that there is just no bottom end to you music. The Bose app does have an EQ section where you can make small adjustments to the tone, but it's basically a three band EQ so you don't have much control over the sound at all. In addition to the EQ, there's an Auto Volume switch. The idea here is that with it On, it will raise or lower the volume according to the surrounding noise in the environment you happen to be in. This may or may not be useful to you based on the places you wear them. The case is nice. Not much new here and I have a lot of earbuds that use a similar style. That's not a bad thing, the case works well. It stands up on it's own even with the lid open. What's a real benefit, is that the case is able to charge wirelessly. It worked well for me just by using my desktop phone charger. The lid is transparent, for whatever reason. I guess if you're in the habit of setting your earbuds down outside the case, you can see if they're actually in the case...? Anyway, on one end is a USB-C port and on the opposite end is a button to activate the Blue-Tooth discovery. I have an S24 Ultra and it found the earbuds and paired with them quickly and easily. I didn't need the app installed for that to happen. The app has some useful functionality, but is not needed to just do a quick setup and start listening. But it will show you things like the charge of each bud and also the case, which is handy. It does allow multi-point connection and has a switch for that, which is activated by default. There's also tabs to show you hints about the media control buttons, phone calls, charging, etc.. When you first go through the setup process, it will guide you through a tutorial on exactly how to wear them and how to put them in. The controls are very easy to find. There's only one button on each bud. So they are thankfully easy to find (something a lot of other buds seem to miss the point on). Basically, the number of times you click the buttons gets you through things like play/pause. Skip forward or reverse, answer calls and increase or decrease the volume, although I tend to just use my phone volume buttons for that, but that will depend on how close your phone is to you. Helpful during a workout for sure. I had no problem hearing phone conversations, and they seemed quite clear. Battery life is good, as expected. I don't really see a battery life issue with many earbuds these days and these are no different. Overall, I'm very torn on how to actually rate these guys. I love Bose products, and I have quite a few. They're always solid performers and always sound fantastic. For me, regardless of my environment, I don't really care for open ear buds in general. The reason is simple, they have no bass! And these are unfortunately, no different. However, I know a lot of people just like to have comfortable earbuds that are not the kind that seal out all the noise around them because of the environment in which they're used. So for those people, these would be a great choice. For me, I always prefer a more high end sound with good dynamic range. The kind you get from a pair of earbuds that do seal themselves in your ears. It all comes down to personal preference. Taking these earbuds for what they are designed for and evaluating them on that design, I'll split the difference and give them a four out of five. Comfort being a 5, but sound quality being a 3.

After spending some time with the Bose Sport Open Earbuds, I’ve been impressed with how comfortable they are and how well they balance good sound with the ability to stay aware of what is happening around you. The design is different from traditional earbuds. Instead of going directly into your ear canal, they wrap around the outside of your ear with a small circular speaker resting near the opening of your ear. The rubberized portion of the earbud helps keep them securely in place, and they are lightweight and flexible enough that putting them on and taking them off is very easy. There is also a little room to adjust them up or down to find the best position for comfort and sound. With an IP54 rating, they are also resistant to sweat, splashes and dust, which makes them a good option for walking, running or working out. Connecting them through Bluetooth was effortless, especially with the Bose app guiding the process. Each earbud has a physical button on the barrel that controls playback, volume, skipping tracks and going back to the previous song. You can also answer and end phone calls directly from the earbuds. There isn't a dedicated mute button, but that can easily be handled through your phone. A long press on the left earbud can also be assigned as a shortcut. I like having the option to use this for my voice assistant or to quickly open Spotify and continue where I left off. The Bose app is very well done. Along with connection controls and firmware updates, it includes an equalizer for customizing the sound, multipoint connectivity for switching between devices such as a phone and laptop, battery information for both the earbuds and charging case, and access to Bose product support. There are also short animated demonstrations showing exactly how the earbuds should be worn, which I found surprisingly helpful. You can even rename the earbuds using one of Bose's suggestions such as "Ghost Mode" or "Shooting Star," or create your own name. Sound quality has been very good considering these are an open-ear design. The bass is better than I expected, while vocals and higher tones come through sharp and clean. I especially appreciate having the equalizer available so I can adjust the sound to my preference. There is no active noise cancellation, but that isn't really the purpose of these earbuds. They are designed specifically to let outside sound in so you can hear traffic, people or other activity around you. If you're looking for complete isolation from your surroundings, these probably aren't the right choice. Battery life has also been excellent so far. I fully charged everything once and have used the earbuds for roughly six hours total. The charging case has quickly brought them back to 100% and still shows about 70% remaining. Based on my experience so far, getting close to 30 hours of total listening time before having to plug the case back in seems very realistic. The ability to recharge with either USB-C or wireless charging is another nice convenience. Overall, the Bose Sport Open Earbuds are a great option for someone who wants comfortable earbuds with very good sound but doesn't want to be completely disconnected from their surroundings. They stay securely in place, the Bose app adds plenty of useful features, and the battery life has been excellent. For walking, exercising or everyday use when situational awareness matters, I've really enjoyed using them.

With the line of work I am in , I am always traveling and enjoy using headphones to listen to music. However with the type of ears I have I was limited to the "types" or ear phones I would be able to use comfortably. I always had to stay away for ear buds as they were never comfortable and went into the ear that after a while would always fall out or become irritating. I was extremely excited to try out these open ear styles and have been pleasantly surprised! They rest comfortably on the outside of the ear along with providing great sound! I was also impressed with how accurate it picked up my voice during phone calls received. I really like the range these has as sometimes I leave my phone on my work desk and walk across the room towards the printer. I really like the range instead of having to always carry my phone with my on short distance trips. The other thing I found impressive was the battery life. These Earbuds can last for quite some time! I have been using them for about a week on the same charge without any issues so far. The only concern I have is because they sit on the outside of the ear , if someone is very close to you they would be able to hear your conversation of music being played. However they do have to be very close to you so its not that big of a deal unless you always have someone in your personal space. As for the application, I would never get it to recognize these Earbuds, it was such a pain to use after multiple attempts and verifying I had the latest software version. I ended up just using the Bluetooth connection that came with the phone and it connected quickly without issues. Overall I recommend this product, it is great seeing earbuds that do not have to go into the ear itself and rests comfortably on the outside of the ear!

Overall these Bose Sport earbuds are comfortable to wear when working out hard and provide good quality audio for an open ear design. They stayed secure whether I was doing interval work on an elliptical or doing hyper back extensions where my head drops towards the floor and then raise back up quickly. They allow in external sounds enough to keep you aware so they are great for running outside as well. The Bose app is bare minimum with very limited customization so you cannot reassign the earbud buttons. Bottom line is these are great for working out but I’ll stick with my Bose Quiet Comfort earbuds when it comes to listening to music while relaxing. Pros: - Secure fit that’s comfortable - Audio quality is very good for open earbuds - Sweat and water resistant which is great for workouts Cons: - No auto pause when you remove an earbud - Function control buttons on the earbud are not customizable - Limited 3 band preset equalizers in the app - No Mute function while in a phone call The ear buds wrap around your ear lobe with a small speaker just outside the ear canal. The larger control section sits just behind your ear lobe and the function button on each earbud is mechanical which means you actually push the button in for it to function. I found the buttons were easy to access and use however they have very limited to no customization. You can only configure the Left Shortcut button to either access the Voice Assistant or to access Spotify – no other functions are changeable. The overall audio quality is good for a open earbud however there is limited adjustability in the app. There are four preset equalizer settings and one that is customizable but its only a 3 band setting so you have limited ability to change the overall sound quality. The Bose app does allow you to turn on Auto Volume which automatically increases the volume in noisy environments. I found this worked very well when wearing them in the gym however I had to turn it off in quieter environments so that I could get the volume low enough for my liking.

As someone who has always loved Bose products, I was excited to get the Bose Sport Open Earbuds. I left them in their case to fully charge and my iPhone's Bose app detected them right away. To get the best sound, I adjusted the fit by gripping the cylindrical section, placing the hook over each ear and then rotating the cylinder so it sits behind the ear. They fit securely yet felt extremely comfortable and you can move them up or down to get the right angle for your ears, just being careful not to pull or bend the arm too far. These do not offer ANC but I don't need it so isn't an issue with me. Connecting via Bluetooth was seamless, which I really appreciated. Charging is simple as well ~ just shut the case lid and a light indicates the remaining battery and you can power them with a USB-C cord or use wireless charging. The controls are straightforward. Tapping the button on either side will play or pause media. Pressing it twice skips to the next track, while pressing it three times goes back to the previous one. To adjust the volume, hold down the button on the right bud to turn it up and the button on the left bud to turn it down. For calls a single press on either bud answers an incoming call and pressing again will answer a second call while placing the first one on hold ~ pressing once more ends or declines a call. The equalizer settings offers great options for Bass Boost, Bass Reducer, Treble Boost and Treble Reducer, along with Source, Shortcut Tips and Product Support. When it comes to phone calls, I was very impressed by how quickly the earbuds pair with my iPhone ~ voices come through crystal clear on both ends with no static, dropouts, or interruptions. They are so lightweight that I often forget I have them on even after hanging up. Overall these Bose earbuds outperform every other pair I own in terms of call quality, clarity, music, comfort and battery performance. They remain firmly in place regardless of what I am doing and I would absolutely recommend buying them.

Powerful punch from a little set. Bose makes a great earbud and now a open earbud what else can you say. I really like the style and the comfort these have they hang on the ear they are sol light if i didn't have sound on i wouldn't know i had them on. I like these because they have a great big sound without being shoved into my ear. These are last years model i don't know what more they could have improved on. The one thing is i don't like that i can't control the volume with these you have a button on the back side behind your ear that you have to press to play stop pick up calls. I do like that if i want to play music all you do is press that button and you music will start playing from what app you have that was cool. I had them on when my wife was driving use around and i was still able to watch and listen to the game and talk to hear not making her feel left out. I did have a problem today with these when i couldn't get one of them to connect it was a little strange that i had to keep replacing them back in the case and still wouldn't work right.

These Bose earbuds are great! Out of the box, my phone was quick to pick it up for pairing. The earbuds come with a charging case and booklet. It does not come with a charging wire or wall plug. The booklet included does not give instructions on how to install to your phone. You can pair it with your phone or install via app. Theres an indication to scan a QR code but it did not work at the time I tried to scan it. When you download the app, it gives you instructions and how to use the features of the earbuds. On the app you can also control sound equalization. The earbuds feel comfortable and feel secure while going out for a run or walk. The earbuds hang in your ear so they do not go in your ear hole. This is why they're not noise cancelling. This also reduces the bass in the sound. I personally like more bass when I listen to music. The buds have features where you can tap to play, raise volume, skip and answer calls. The earbuds case is chargeable via USB -C cable or wirelessly. These earbuds charge lasts for hours.

Very very unique pair of earbuds. Not only superior comfort but superior sound as well. These are open ear so these are not the earbuds for you if you are wanting to block out other sounds while listening to your music. However, if you want to hear something awesome slip these on and here your music while being able to listen to your children or your significant other or whatever. You will hear everything you need to hear in the background and a crisp clear rendition of your favorite songs, books or phone calls all at the same time. The Bose app lends a great deal of control to the levels of your base, treble and midrange enabling you to personalize your favorite music to your own preferences or abilities to hear certain sounds. They pair up nicely with your device or phone and do so with ease. Pop them back in the case and they can charge up again from the case itself. You need to provide your own USB-C to charge it up to begin with as none is provided with the ear buds as packaged from Bose.

Let me get this out the way: design-wise, these headphones are very interesting and I mean it in a good way. Not only is the design unique, but they genuinely live up to their name, the bowls sport open ear buds are made for exactly what they say they're for: being active. One problem I've had with plenty of earbuds over the years is simply getting them to stay in my ears. Typically, earbuds without the silicone tip or some type of secure fit fall out pretty easy during simple mundane tasks. Everything from jogging the simply eating a burrito can somehow result in an Airbus slipping out and disappearing under furniture. And truly I can't say the same about my experience with these Bose earbuds. I've had them for about 3 weeks now and have worn them while doing pretty much everything I mentioned above and plenty in between. What's their position correctly, they stay in surprisingly well. That said, while these headphones are ergonomically designed to stay, I can't necessarily say their design to give you the best possible sound. The audio quality is fine. I definitely put them above the convenience store or gas station earbuds but not necessarily by country mile. Maybe a couple of yards. And I think that's an important distinction with these. You're paying for the design, convenience, awareness of your surroundings, and the ability to stay active without constantly adjusting your earbuds. Pure audio quality doesn't seem to be the main objective here. I do appreciate that the charging case supports wireless charging. Battery life is also been pretty solid in my experience. I was able to get through 3 days without needing the charge the case again, which is pretty good as far as I'm concerned. As far as comfort goes, and they fit around my earlobes well. I wouldn't call them the most comfortable earbuds I've ever worn, but they're not uncomfortable either. There's definitely a small learning curve and figuring out exactly where the rear portion should sit around your ear. However, once you find that sweet spot, it does become muscle memory. Overall, you feel like a product design for a very specific type of user. If you priority is to stay active, keeping your ears open for spatial awareness, and not worrying about your butts falling out halfway through the day, then Bose has design a product just for you. The sound quality is your top priority, however, there are better options in the market.

If you picked these up expecting classic Bose bass and immersive sound, you’re going to be disappointed. These are built entirely around staying aware of your environment, and while they nail the fit, the audio experience comes with major compromises. Fit & Comfort ⚬ Extremely Secure: The over-ear hook keeps them locked in place. Whether you’re running, working out, or moving around all day, they don't budge. ⚬ All-Day Wear: Because nothing is jammed inside your ear canal, there’s zero ear fatigue or pressure buildup. If you hate traditional ear tips, the comfort here is a genuine highlight. Sound Quality & Volume ⚬ Lacks Low End: The sound is thin and tinny with virtually non-existent bass. Open-air drivers have a hard time producing low-end thump without an in-ear seal, and even tweaking the EQ in the Bose app barely moves the needle. ⚬ Harsh at High Volume: They don't get very loud. When you crank them toward max volume to compensate for street or gym noise, the audio becomes harsh and sharp with far too much treble. Office & Daily Usability ⚬ Environmental Awareness: Perfect for outdoor running where hearing traffic is a safety priority, or an office desk where you need to chat with coworkers without taking an earbud out. ⚬ Sound Leakage: Because these are essentially tiny speakers directed at your ears, people sitting right next to you in a quiet office will hear what you're listening to once you push past medium volume. These are strictly situational utility earbuds. If situational awareness and comfort matter more to you than music quality, they get the job done—but if you care about full, rich sound, you'll want to pass.

Hey there, we're glad to hear the secure fit and all-day comfort have been highlights for you, particularly during workouts and when staying aware of your surroundings.
The open-ear design is intended to balance clear, consistent audio with awareness of what's happening around you. The Bose app also provides audio customization, including EQ adjustments, which may help fine-tune the treble to suit your preferences across different listening environments.
Bose OpenAudio technology is used to direct sound toward your ear while minimizing sound leakage. In most environments and at normal listening levels, people around you should hear little to nothing. That said, we appreciate you sharing your experience, as well as the thoughtful and detailed feedback throughout your review.

Pros • Extremely comfortable: truly all day wear without ear fatigue. • Secure fit: great for workouts, running, and movement-heavy activities. • Solid battery life: about half a day of use per charge, and the case tops them off quickly. • Open ear awareness: perfect for staying aware of surroundings. • Multipoint pairing now supported: makes switching between devices smoother. Cons • Bass is very weak: below 60% volume it’s present but thin, and above 60% it becomes almost nonexistent. • No “Find My Earbuds” feature: easy to misplace due to their small size, and there’s no built in way to locate them. • Limited audio depth: the open-ear design already reduces low-end performance, but these fall behind competitors in richness and fullness. Overall Impression The Bose Sport Open Earbuds are comfortable, lightweight, and great for active use, but they fall short in audio performance. The bass response is noticeably lacking, especially at higher volumes, and the absence of a “find your earbuds” feature feels like a missed opportunity. Battery life is solid, the case recharges quickly, and multipoint pairing is a welcome addition, but the sound limitations keep them from feeling like a premium open-ear option.

Hey Mukman, it's great to hear you enjoyed the secure and comfortable fit of the Sport Open Earbuds, in addition to the 7 hours of audio playback and the convenience of multipoint pairing! The buds were designed with strenuous on-the-go movement in mind, and we're delighted to hear that you're enjoying the benefits.
While the buds are designed to produce rich and open sound, the audio can be dialed in further in the Bose app, which features a built-in EQ. Check this out and you can adjust bass, mids, and treble, or use the preset Bass Boost setting.
In addition, the great news is that a soon-to-come firmware update will enable Google Find Hub, which will enable you to locate your buds on a map through Google services. Check the Bose app for the update as soon as it becomes available!

Alright, I have used scores of earbuds and headphones over the years and BOSE has always had a very special place in my heart. They are a premium brand for the right reasons and this one does not disappoint. This should fit the bill for anyone looking for a painless listening experience while on the move (running, cycling etc.) and this is actually a better buy than the Ultra I have tried in the past. First, it is reasonably priced. Secondly, the fit is perfect. Actually my wife liked it so much (and she has been having those pesky ear-infections for the past few months) that I hardly get to use it. The normal earbuds often exacerbates her problem. Due to long wears, some of our earbuds often overheat, leading to earaches and bouts of otitis. However, since these “open” earbuds were not causing her middle ear to retain moisture, she finds that she is able to wear these buds for very long periods without any discomfort or itchiness. After several hours, both of us did feel some pressure on our pinna region, which was not uncomfortable or painful. The earbuds never heat up like some of the other earbuds we have used in the past. For me, this is one of the most significant advantages of the design. Being able to wear earbuds for several hours without the same level of discomfort makes them much more practical for extended use. The fact that they do not sit directly inside the ear canal also makes them feel less enclosed. The earbuds came in a cute cubical box and a small book of safety information. The book (safety information in multiple languages) is somewhat unnecessary since it does not provide any instructions. A card with minimalistic graphic information on the use of buttons is somewhat useful, although not very intuitive. The designers relied on the user’s ability to interpret graphics and icons to figure out the functions. The instructions could, however, provide more detailed information about the different functions and features of the earbuds. The QR code helps. The earbud case is slightly bigger than most earbuds that can be pushed inside the ear. But the box is simple and does not take up much space, which makes it easy to store or carry. It is easy to pick them out by simply pulling the loop. It is significantly easier than the in-ear buds. These light, sleek earbuds have a slimmer and more open design that makes them feel less intrusive than traditional in-ear earbuds. The overall design seems particularly appropriate for people who do not like the sensation of having something inserted directly into their ear canal. It does not have ANC. It is not supposed to. The sound production is more than decent with the limitations of the design in mind. From a purely sonic standpoint, listening through the Bose Sport Open Earbuds feels less like wearing traditional in-ear monitors and more like having a pair of miniature, open-air acoustic monitors floating just outside my ear canals. The presentation is strikingly crisp, direct, and airy, rendering speech, podcast dialogues, and acoustic guitars with an articulate, immediate presence and natural timbre that easily runs circles around the muffled vibration of bone conduction. But without an acoustic seal against my ear, sub-bass frequencies simply evaporate—the mid-bass has enough energetic kick to keep cadence on a run, yet any track relying on deep, sub-audible rumble or heavy 808s sounds decidedly lean, stripped of weight and chest-thumping impact. The treble is deliberately forward and bright to slice through wind turbulence and traffic noise, which works wonders for intelligibility at moderate listening levels, but pushing the volume past eighty percent quickly tips those highs into sharp, sibilant territory while letting faint high-frequency sizzle bleed out to anyone standing within arm's reach. Overall-- like I said above, if the goal is to use this while exercising and running, to protect your ear from infections, and to just enjoy the overall airiness this brings to the table. this is a brilliant buy.

Open earbuds? I'm not brand new to the idea of open earbuds, but have only discovered them in the last year. There are two main reasons I have come to prefer these over almost every standard earbud, including the brand most of us are familiar with. 1. Open earbuds sit right outside the ear canal. This means you can hear around you. While this may not be desirable on a plane, a bus, a train, or as a passenger in a vehicle, there are plenty of times when this is beneficial. The reason I prefer this is because I can properly hear my own voice when I'm speaking. I hate that closed-off sound of my own voice when I'm on a phone call and I cannot even gauge how loudly I'm speaking. 2. As someone who cannot wear any kind of earbud or headphone without pain, this style seems to cause me a lot less pain, especially after wearing them for a while. I have several pairs of really good earbuds, as well as two headphones. I typically cannot wear there for more than an hour without ear pain. It's also hard for me to find earbuds that stay in my ears, an issue many people have. I am certainly not an audiophile, but I can definitely tell these sound a lot better than a cheap no-name brand (I have a cheap no-name brand to compare with - they're really only acceptable for spoken audio and still not great). I have a couple other brands as well and overall sound quality is on par with the more expensive ones. Here are a few things I really LIKE about these Bose earbuds: - The back portion (the part that goes behind your ear) has a large resistive pad on them. This means that if you are wearing these during a workout, they will stay in place. I wore them while doing housework and they did not move. - Many of this style of earbud (and even in-ear versions) have a "touch zone" where a light touch of this area will trigger an action (Play/Pause, Next Track, Previous Track, Answer Call, etc). These do not - they use a button that it easy to detect via its bumpy texture. This makes it MUCH less possible to trigger an action just because your finger comes in contact with the earbud, especially when putting them on. There are different patterns that will trigger different actions, so as short press, long press, etc. - A slim case that easy fits in a pocket. - A decent app, although not perfect (read on) - Multi-point connection - you can connect these earbuds to two different devices and swap between them. Unfortunately, while it's easy to set up in the app, swapping between the two devices is not intuitive, it's not automatic, and may require extra interaction with one or both of those devices. I have them connected to both my Mac and my iPhone. I cannot swap devices just by tapping on the other device. I have to stop any audio from the original device before the other one will work, and I also have to make sure that the earbuds are the active audio selection in the Settings app on my Mac. Here is a list of my gripes with these Bose earbuds: - There appears to be no way to find a missing earbud. The app does not list such a feature, and for the price of these, not being able to find a missing one with an audible sound is a major downgrade. - The resistive pad keeps them in place, but I feel the tension on the band that connects the two parts is a little tighter than it needs to be. I did start feeling ear pain in less than an hour with these. I could usually adjust them slightly to get relief, but unfortunately I cannot wear them for long without having this issue. In defense, I am hyper-sensitive to this, but the tension does squeeze my outer ear more than I would like. - The battery life of the earbuds is great, but they seem to drain the case faster than almost any other pair I have. You'll definitely want to keep the case charged. - Multi-device is a fantastic feature, but it's not implemented very well. - The app has a "shortcut" feature, where you can customize the action when you press and hold the button on the earbud (can be set up independently on each earbud). It only has two options - the Voice Assistant (such as Siri on the iPhone) and Spotify (no other music app). I don't use Spotify, but instead Pandora and YouTube Music. The option appears to only work with Spotify, so it's useless to me. One other point is that I could not connect the earbuds to my iPhone (not sure about Android) without the app installed. I haven't tried to use them without the app, but they would not connect to Bluetooth until I launched the app. This seems strange to me, and definitely left me confused. Overall, these are very good earbuds, and I good option if you want open earbuds with good sound and that will stay in place. However, you are also paying for the name. I still recommend them, but maybe wait for a sale.

These sound really good, especially for open ear headphones. They have become my everyday headphones as they don’t fully close off my ears and they stay on really well. I think how well they stay on is one of my favorite features. My ears are slightly weird shaped and not quite the same size. I cannot get some headphones to stay in at all. So my favorite headsets have been over the ear or some other kind of hook design. I love these as the carrier and charger for them pods are slim enough and small enough to fit in my pocket easily, it’s not the smallest, but it still works well enough. This carries over to the case design, the lid is plastic and feels plastic, it is extremely light which almost makes it hard to open, it also doesn’t wirelessly charge. Overall, the case gets the job done and isn’t too big, however, it isn’t the best case I’ve had. The connectivity on the pods themselves is good. Connecting to Android is really simple, open the case the phone sees them, and you click connect, then it asks if you want the app and takes you to the app store to download. Apple is not nearly as convenient, but at the end of the day you can pair it on either. The range is really good and strong. The two issues I found is that the startup noise will interrupt a conversation if you are trying to switch to your headset the was in your pocket, then it will drown out the conversation again to let you know it is connecting to your second device. The connection will also jump between devices sometimes when you don’t want it to, for instance when I was watching a video on my phone it kept sending notifications from the computer, since I wasn’t at work I just got into the app and turned off the computer as a source and no more notification issues. I didn’t have the same issue with music though, it seems to think music was more important than email notifications on the computer, which I didn’t mind at all. The other issue I had is that the connection can give a ton of static when I am connected to a computer and phone at the same time. It’ll be great for 15 min then decide not to be good. Once again, this was easy enough to fix by forcing the connection to one device over the other, and yes, you can force it to the computer with the app, your app won’t be connected and it’ll need to steal the connection back but I did this a couple of times when I just wanted to be connected to the work computer for meetings. Speaking of why I am using this for meetings and personal, the microphone is amazing, I can hear perfectly, they are comfortable to wear all day, and the battery lasts almost the whole day, a few times in the pocket when communicating with others at work or breaks where I don’t need guarantees that, they died today on me, I was in meetings from 10 to 3 straight, it was connected to my phone and the computer, and I had listed to music before the meetings, other days it has lasted well past 8 hours on my ears without dying (not always streaming) These are not perfect, however, I love the control, the sound quality, how well they stay on for work, play, commuting, exercising, as well as the excellent microphone that enables me to take a call just about anywhere.

I am not really a gadget guy, but I do try to get a run in most mornings before the house wakes up, and I picked up the Bose Sport Open Earbuds mainly for that. I have never loved shoving traditional buds deep into my ears, and I was tired of my old ones working loose halfway through a run. Setup could not have been simpler. I downloaded the Bose Music app, the earbuds paired with my iPhone in a matter of seconds, and I was listening to a podcast before I even finished tying my shoes. No fumbling around, no manual required, which is exactly how it should be. Where these earbuds really stand out is on the run itself. Instead of sealing off your ear canal, the open design sits just above it, so I can still hear cars coming up behind me, my dog barking in the yard, or my wife calling me in for dinner. That matters a lot more to me these days than it used to. I run on streets with a decent amount of traffic, and not having my hearing blocked off makes me feel noticeably safer than I did with regular in ear buds. They also seem to hold up fine in sweat and a light drizzle, which is exactly what you want out of something built for outdoor workouts rather than the couch. Day to day, these have become my default for anything active around the house. Mowing the lawn, walking the dog, running quick errands, they just work without a lot of fuss involved. Battery life is rated at around 8 hours, which is plenty to cover several runs before a charge is needed. One quirk worth mentioning, the case itself does not actually charge the buds. You pop them onto a small charging base instead, so it takes a minute to build that habit if you are coming from buds that charge right in the case like most do. The one real adjustment has been the fit. These do not go into your ear canal like most buds. They hook over the top of your ear and rest against the outside instead. Coming from years of the standard in ear style, that took some getting used to. They feel a little different, almost like something is resting on your ear rather than sitting inside it. Nothing painful, just not what I was expecting the first time I put them on. I think with more time wearing them regularly that feeling will keep fading, but it is worth knowing going in that the fit is a real departure from typical earbuds, and it is not going to feel familiar right out of the box. Sound quality is solid for what these are designed to do. You are not going to get deep bass or the isolation of a sealed bud, but that is sort of the whole point. They are built to let outside sound in while still giving you enough audio to enjoy a podcast or a playlist during a workout. Overall, I would recommend these to anyone who spends a lot of time running or walking outside and wants to stay aware of their surroundings while still listening to something. Parents keeping an ear out for kids, people running near traffic, or anyone who has never liked the sealed in ear feeling would probably appreciate these. They are probably not the right pick if you are chasing the best possible sound quality or want noise cancellation for the gym or office. For safety and convenience during outdoor activity though, they have earned a permanent spot in my gym bag.

The Bose Sport Open Earbuds have an impressive sound. Right away I was impressed with the look and design of these buds. Love its black and blue color. As I said, the case itself seems not the best. quality (not sure price point). I expect that when you think of Bose. But the case feels like low grade. The way the buds feel and their overall construction, to me, make them feel like a low-end pair from Bose. Don’t know if it’s because it’s “sport” of the sport edition, if they are made so light on purpose. I do love the app and its customization capabilities. The buds connect to the app well, and I really like its user interface. Very easy to navigate. However, the connection is very sensitive; you have to be with the buds in hand; they don’t automatically stay connected the way they automatically stay connected through Bluetooth. The battery life is really impressive. Haven’t had to charge them for about 4 days, and the case was on 33% while the buds stayed full on that one charge. On a positive note, as someone who cannot wear in-ear buds to save my life, the clip design is a better. option for me in times where I actually do want a bud and not an obnoxious over-the-head earphones. I love the buttons I. The side button skips songs, and 3 clicks take you back. The controls are on the buds themselves. I like the tone it makes when you put them in your ears, letting you know they are connected. If I had to rate it out of 10, I would give it a 7. Not the Bose I am used to, but they will do what you need them to: give you great tunes during a workout. And being IP54 waterproof-rated, I don’t worry about sweating them out. One major downside, though: sometimes the music will cut off randomly, like it’s losing connection or something, but when the earphones are lying well, the sound is good. If you're looking for a nice-priced pair of buds, check them out.

The Bose - Sport Open-ear Running Earbuds with secure fit are a relaxed, open-ear option for active wear. With a sleek fit, a fashionable look applied to an earbud. Out of the box, the case maintained initial battery charge from factors and the ear buds were ready to go - used for over a week on/off at night for 2-4 hours without needing to charge the case. The ear buds have not died during my normal wear use of about 4-5 hours per night (consistent with reported 7 hours on single charge). Pairing was less simple than I expected - in that once entering into pairing mode, my iPhone actually did not find the device in Bluetooth initially - rather I ended up downloading the Bose app and then they were found/paired appropriately. With the app, there is a basic equalizer function, which I have adjusted bass to be increased per my preference. The sound is well balanced by default but does not carry a massive "umph" factor in bass. Crisp overall sound and have been my preferred ear bud since obtaining. You can still hear the world around you - which is a major open air feature but without being obnoxious in that my wife has not complained of sound level, she did with my previous pair of open air earbuds. The open fit in like a cusp around the middle-to-lower ear depending on desired comfort level. Directing sound into the external ear canal. I found that I did have to adjust the wearing location over the first few days - as day I caused a slight bit of discomfort after about 20-mins. I have now found a good position to wear these without further issue or discomfort. I have been moving pretty rigorously with these and have not had any issue/concern of them falling out. I am also able to reach out the earbud to scratch ear when needed. Can lay with them on side without causing too much discomfort as well. Overall, clear sounding, quick charging open-ear earbud with adequate battery life, providing a secure fit to allow for athletic activities/endurance while staying in position.

This review is on a Bose - Sport Open Earbuds. I am extremely satisfied with these earbuds. They are super easy to setup and fast to connect. This is the first pair that I have owned with this kind of design. I am surprised at how well they stay on. I cannot shake them off. I can barely feel them and they are super light. They look super cool with the Bose logo on the arm when wearing. Setting up Bluetooth is easy with the case open and pressing the button on the side of the case. When you pull them out of the case, they make a sound and when connecting to a device, it makes a different sound. Battery life is a lot longer than most earbuds that I own. To add them to the Bose app, all I had to do was turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on my phone. It automatically recognized them without any special button combination. Then it goes through a questionnaire with how to put them on. Then gives tips on media control, phone calls, shortcut, Bluetooth and charging. Button presses are easy to remember to control songs and phone calls. Button on top is easy to feel and use. App equalizer has only three options (Bass, Mid, and Treble). App makes it easy to change them to desired level. You can connect to two devices at once and quickly swap from one to the other in the app with a click. With the app open it brings your song into the app for easy control. Keep in mind that these are open earbuds, so for this setup I think they sound great. Bose has done it again with filling your ear with sound from everywhere. If you want more outside noise just move them up your ear. If you are looking for a great open earbud setup please try these out.

Bose Sport Open Earbuds Wireless Bluetooth are leading in a new generation of open earbuds. I was not sure that I was going to like to open ear style for earbuds but what an amazing surprise. The Bose Sport Open Earbuds have impeccable sound with clear crisp audio from bass and treble. The setup was really simple as opening the Bose Sport Open Earbuds case and my Samsung Smartphone recognized my Bluetooth connection and paired with my Smartphone. I downloaded the Bose App and pressed the button the side for the blue light status. I used the How To Wear feature to get the perfect fit for my earlobe by hooking the Bose Sport Open earbuds around my ear. The fit was great and the earbuds snapped right in place snugly, shaking my head from side to side without experiencing any movement from the Bose Sport Open Earbuds. The Bose Open Earbuds have a multipoint connection where you can connect two devices at the same time with 30 feet. I connected my Asus Chromebook and was able to switch back and forth between listening to both devices with Spotify. There Product Tips in using your Bose Sport Open Earbuds such as Media Control with earbud barrel to play or pause audio. Skip Forward/Backward -Double press to skip to next track, triple press to skip to previous track. Volume Control-Press and hold button on right ear or increase in volume, press and hold left earbud to decrease the volume. Answer a phone call by pressing the button on either earbud barrel and even press again to answer a second call and put the current call on hold. You can even charge your earbuds in the case and also charge wirelessly. I can't say enough about The Bose Sport Open Earbuds Wireless Bluetooth especially after going to a run enjoying the open ear equalizer bass sound and secure connection.

The new Bose - Sport Open Earbuds are a nice improvement over the first generation of the same thing. First off these are super comfortable to wear, I can wear them literally all day in the office and never have to adjust them or take them off because they are hurting my ears. Placement does matter but the app will help you adjust the fit to be perfect. Sound quality is really good considering the open aspect but be aware since they are open you will get some sound bleed to those around you. Mic quality is something the first generation struggled with a bit but they have improved greatly here and call quality is much better. Noise cancellation is not top tier but it will get you through a zoom call or a somewhat noisy environment. Battery life is pretty great, can get a full 8 hour day on the earbuds without having to charge or if you need to be on the go with the case you can expect at least a good 36 hours without needing to charge up the case again. The case does not have wireless charging capabilities which is a bit of a let down but USB-C connection with the included cable will keep you going as needed. The Bose app has all your customization ready to go and highly recommended to configure them in the app due to all the options awaiting you here. Overall these are a top notch offering from Bose in the Open Earbud product line, would definitely recommend if these are the features you are after.
