I have owned the Bose Acoustic Radio for several years that is used in our living area and always wanted the radio for our bedroom. The price we paid for this unit helped make my decision to get the Bose Radio. I knew the sounds would be great just from listening to other products Bose makes. We have had this for about a month now and the sounds it puts out; puts me to sleep every night. The sounds are smooth and well balanced that it is a real pleasure to listen to.

We all know that Bose has a terrific sound. The bass is powerful. The music fills the room.

The sound is "true" and really does "surround" you with sound. I use it to practice my music from a CD; and I know I'm getting the correct note!

When my 15 year old CD player wore out, I was overwhelmed with all the new advances and technology challenges. A friend recommended this model to me when I couldn't make up my mind. It is compact, so you don't have to search for a place to set speakers. The remote is very slim, and the directions for set up are very easy to use. I basically wanted it for a CD player, but the radio settings sound good. It can also be programmed as an alarm. The CD's sound wonderful!!!

The last radio I had could not consistently keep a station tuned and some days could not pick up a station at all. I thought it might have been because I lived near the airport. The antennae on this radio is built into the cord and that did the trick. Sound extremely good and it was easy to set up. I read in other reviews that the remote didn't work well, but I have had no problems with it. Very satisfied with the unit as a whole.
