This subwoofer has 84 dB sensitivity, 38 Hz resonant frequency. It hits these frequencies with a polypropylene cone and butyl rubber surround. The recommended enclosure volumes are 0.8 cubic feet sealed or in a 1.4 cubic foot ported enclosure.A dual voice coil subwoofer provides more wiring configuration possibilities. If you add additional subwoofers, wiring configurations can be easily matched to optimize the amps power output. Power handling is also increased. Dual voice coil subwoofers are ideal for medium to high power applications.
