This unit makes you sound so much better, both guitar and vocals. When you first start using it you'll tend to go overboard in the effects, but as you tone it down to just enhance slightly it starts to shine. I like the chorus and phaser for guitar, and the harmonies for the vocal. you can choose the level of the effect and dial it in. The looper is fun but i haven't figured out how to stop it gracefully yet. There is a higher learning curve for this, but if you just learn one thing a day and play around with it, it'll start making sense. Only thing that frustrated me is I got a fs-6 dual foot pedal and found out that you can't initiate a loop with the pedal. that means you have to figure it if it makes more sense to put it on the floor, or on a table higher up. i think you can add a separate looper, like a boss rc5, which probably wouldn't be a bad idea if you looped alot. i like that you can set 50 vocal/guitar memories so if you had 50 songs in your setlist, you can set the sound for each. still learning, but really really like this unit
