There simply is no down side to these speakers, allowing that no premium product of any sort can be purchased for a low dollar amount. But even at about $250.00 each, these speakers are worth the price in spades. There is hardly anywhere these speakers cannot be placed, fixed or hung, even on top of your head, if you like, by mounting them on a bike helmet or other head gear. Aside from that, their compact size and style allows you to locate them as inconspicuously as possible, to least detract from your interior décor. Last but very pointedly not least is their sound quality. Their wide frequency range and clarity, and their capacity of making speech intelligible at low volume levels is a thing of wonder.

Phenomenal sound in this small package! I integrated into my system powered by SonosAmp and pairs with Sonos gen3 subwoofer and we couldn’t be happier with the crystal clear high end and beautiful midrange these gems are capable of. Solid and dense sound when you thump the side-no unwanted resonance here! Just the look alone is amazing but the sound that the M-1 can reproduce is really impressive! Bravo and these should be a “Go-To” for a smaller size speaker. Ingenious placement of the adjustment tool in the base/bottom support of the speaker-you’ll never forget where that oddball wrench is because it’s stored in the base! Brilliant design touch.

I purchased the B&W speaker to use as a center channel after discussing my options with the Magnolia specialist. I was originally thinking of a dedicated center channel speaker but I was limited with the amount of room I had beneath my TV. The specialist recommended this speaker even though it is used as a bookshelf speaker. I could not be happier with this product.

The colors couldn't have matched my walls better. Aesthetics are perfect. When you crank up the volume the sound is way above my expectations. Do yourself a favor. Spend the money and by the BW complete set. Anything less is just, well... Less.

I purchased 3 of these speakers as Open box items. Fortunately, I planned to mount them in my theater and did not need the missing bookshelf stands. They work perfectly in my 7.2 surround sound system as front and center speakers.

These speakers perform very well for my side surrounds. They are compact for the sound and the white color blends in well on the wall/ ceiling. That being said, they are quite pricey for surround use. Where the performance shows is in 7 speaker music playback, which is maybe 10% of my use. The speaker converts from table stand to wall mount, and runs the speaker wire in an interesting and complicated way to try to hide it, but it doesn’t really clean up the install THAT much. Coming from an engineer, It is over engineered. The important part, the wire connection, is BAD on the wall setup. the wire set screws barely hold a wire and strip out easily. I tried tinned wires and non-tinned. All in all, glad I have them, but can’t help but think I could have found a better value white speaker elsewhere.

These little guys are great. I decided to buy after all retailers and B&W dropped the price. I am using as deskstops without a sub. If you have them in a large room and are not sitting right on top of them, you will most likely want to add a sub. They require you to run the wires through the base, which does provide a nice clean look but does limit your size and type of cable. A 16-gauge with average insulation should fit, but if you try to go too large or too high-end, you may have trouble.

These are wonderful solid built units that can handle a lot.. good overall sound... a little tough to install when hanging on a wall... especially in tight corners of a room.. but worth it once installed...nice looking as well... (great when combined with B&W center speaker and a sub...)

Amazing little speakers. Used for music in a 25'x16' room mounted on one wall high up and facing down. Fills the whole room with audio. Voices are clear and with ample bass. Would work better with a subwoofer but is not needed, Paired with an old Yamaha HTR5550 with no issues. Can get loud but even with the audio turned up conversations can still be heard. The audio sounds great for karaoke as well.

Though they weren't cheap, I purchased 3 of these for my home theater system - L, R, and Center. I paired them with a Klipsch SW311 sub. Sound quality is excellent and far superior to TV speakers. We considered a sound bar but ultimately went with the component set up (paired everything with a Marantz NR1403). I highly recommend these speakers.

Incredibly good sound. Just right size for surround sound back speakers. Highly recommend.

Great sound. A bit pricy, but hopefully I get what I paid for. The only thing I don't like is that the wall mount cover doesn't have much room to hide the 12 gauge speaker wire, which is a bit thick. I can't get the covers to snap on because of the thickness. B&W had a good idea with building the speaker connection into the mounts, but should've allowed a little more room for the wire.

If you decide for compact speakers and do not want to compromise sound quality these beauties are it. DONOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH BOSE. I was deceived for years with an expensive bose sound system. When I set these bad boys , the sound was amazing! You will need a nice subwoofer . ASW 608 .

These speakers pack a punch for their size. They are expensive, but worth it! For full sound, a subwoofer is required to complement them. They produce superior highs and mids, only. However, they do it extremely well, and they can handle lots of power to fill a room with impressive sound.
