About month ago I upgraded my sound system and had initially purchased Martin Logan Motion 2i speakers as my surround left/right and absolutely loved them. However, my wife did not like how bulky they look on the wall (although they are actually very small). So I exchanged them for these B&W in-wall speakers. I was worried that I wasn't going to get the same sound quality of the ML Motion 2i, but I was pleasantly surprised. These in-wall speakers sound amazing. And you can barely notice them on the wall, which is a big plus since I got my wife's approval. Pros: great highs and mids for both music and movies; they almost disappear on the wall; easy to install; very well made/good quality; comparable (if not better) to most bookshelf speakers of the same size/price. Cons: I can't think of any really. The only thing that comes to mind is that the lows may not be as good as some bookshelf speakers. But with the proper EQ adjustment, they sound amazing and have had absolutely no problem playing great sound with anything i have thrown at it so far. Overall, I couldn't be happier and would totally buy these again. Another thing I can mentioned is that the sound coming out of the speakers fills the room pretty well, making it hard for the listener to pin point the exact location of the speaker from the listener positions in my room, which is a big plus for surround sound.

We shopped numerous brands including Bose and preferred this brand, Bowers and WIlkins While it is always a good rule of thumb to use one brand of speakers we were selecting various speaker size and application. Bowers presented us with excellent sound reproduction as well as variety of sizes and applications. These speakers are used exclusively for musuc

I was limited in width due to a water pipe so this was one of the few "in wall" speakers that would fit in my space. Installation was easy and build quality of the speakers is typical B&W so they're pretty rock solid. How do they sound? In my room they're pretty flat across the frequency spectrum down to around 80hz where they fall off pretty quickly. Highs and mids aren't hyped but are accurate and detailed. There's a switch to increase or decrease tweeter output but I found them best set flat in my room which is around 18x30 with 10 foot ceilings. Having owned previous B&W's I was prepared for a long break in period but these sounded good out of the box and there was no glare in the high end. These need to be paired with a subwoofer as there's no deep bass and mine cross over at 80hz which sounds about right. We're running vinyl, Hi Rez digital, and streaming through these and they're fun to listen to with no fatigue. Really not bad considering the price.

Flexible clean mounting vertical or horizontal. Great for surrounds and Nautilus tweeters timbre matched to my other B&W speakers in an 11-1 system.

I replaced Boston bookshelf speakers as the surrounds in my 5.1 set up. What an amazing upgrade. Installation was simple. paintable grills allow them to virtually disappear in the wall.

Sound is great. Installation a breeze. Only reason for four stars is Best Buy messed up by only sending one speaker in the box, when it clearly states its sold in pairs. Had to return the one, then reorder and hope I get 2 (which I did).

I have several pair of B & W speakers, I needed something for surround sound speakers that didn't stand out. These are substantial speakers probably better than what is needed for surround sound but what the heck.

Very good speakers, powerful and clear sound. The white cover hides the speaker very well on the wall.

This was an excellent pair of speakers. Didn't pay top price but got top quality for the speakers. I did a little research and found Bowers & Wilkins are rated extremely well in the industry.
