No back box with purchase! 3k, and I still have to buy the mounting box. Separate @ 900.00 each.

Your salesperson should have quoted you the price for the speakers with Back Boxes. The reason we price them separately is that many of our customers are installing the backbox months before the home is completed and having a speaker sitting around a job site that long invites either missing or broken speakers. We'll update the copy on Best Buy dotcom to help make this clearer.
