This mount worked well for me. It fit my criteria - easy to use, didn't require installation of any permanent mount on my dash, a lower price. Then after almost 4 months, a screw fell out. This is a teeny tiny, black screw on the scissors joint so without it, the mount doesn't hold the phone. It doesn't look like there was any nut to prevent the screw from coming out. I'm very disappointed as it had been working well for me. Sorry, but I can't recommend this phone mount.

A piece was bent, it somehow was disassembled in the bag, bottom bracket and the 2 screws that would have attached the bottom bracket were loose in the delivery bag. Of course when I dumped the contents out, one of the screws fell off the table and I can’t find it, so now I have this thing that doesn’t work. I will attempt to return it to a Best Buy store next time I’m in the city for probably an exchange if they will let me. It is a good design, just should put some lock-tight on the screws.

This item is perfect for my car. I have avoided these in the past since my cars have always had a place to prop them up in the cup holder though I needed to look down to see. This one was on sale when I was looking for a phone case for my new iPhone12 so I bought on a whim. Now my phone is front and center. I have a 2010 Explorer where the ac vents are in the middle of the dash. This may not work for some where the ac vent are at the top like my wife's Honda CRV.

This mount works well don't have any complaints about it.

Mount is suitable for my Prius Hybrid Air Vent. Although I wish the clamp is more tight since I use my cellphone to navigate and remove it oftentimes to finish an order. Over-all I am satisfied with the product.

Very bad. Holder moves a lot while driving. it was good and steady for 2-3 days after purchase. One of the clip bracket came off as it was badly glued I believe and other one is barely over there. Need refund for this if I can get. Not worth the price I paid for this holder.

Using iPhone 13pro with Defender Otter Box case which makes the phone a little big but still functions. Glad i bought it.

The one of the screws that holds it together popped out twice! I fixed it the first time but I’m over it.

Needed something light and reliable to hold up my phone during car rides. This fits my Samsung Galaxy S10 perfectly and grips into my car's air vents without any issues.

This clamp is fantastic! Simple, well-built and holds onto both the car vent and phone securely. I really couldn't have been more satisfied. Great price too.

Defective and store didn’t wanted to exchange because it was past 14 days.

The Bracketron AutoGrip Clamp Mount - Black phone mount is sleek, compact, and has clean lines. It does not at all obscure my field of vision in my windshield. It clamps easily to the air vent. The phone pops in, with no adjustment of clamps to fit in the phone. My phone mount before this was also from the same manufacturer, but it was truly cumbersome, and WAY more expensive. It had a suction cup for the windshield, thus partially obscuring my view of the road ahead. The arm was also difficult to get into the desired position for complete phone viewing. To sum up, the Bracketron AutoGrip Clamp Mount - Black truly fits my sensibilities, sleek, compact, clean lines, easy installation, easy to use. AND all for under $20 including tax.

I use 3 of these. One fell apart (tiny screws come loose and fall out) after a week of use. The clip that goes in the air vent will slide around and loosen up over time. If you plan to place your phone in the holder and never touch while driving then youre good to go. If you need to move in and out to answer calls or edit navigation, this may jot be the one. Your phone will snag on the arms of the holder at least every other time when trying to remove. Ive since added thread lock to the screws and havent had any issues so far.

Not overly happy with this purchase. I like the eas of dropping the phone into the mount although my phone and case are too thick to fit in the bottom grip. Also, have to be careful taking phone out as mount cna come out of vent. I've had other Bracketron mounts that I liked but this one is not great.

Its a good idea. If you make hard turns or its not gripping all the way it comes out the vent. It slides off very easy. The rubber pieces that grip the vent come off the clip. You might have to reglue them.

[Employee of bestbuy] I like how simple and light it is. The way it automatically grips onto my phone is really nice. My only issue is that it's a little flimsy. Sometimes, I get a little afraid when I take bumps because my phone may jump a bit. Otherwise, still a good phone holder.

I like the design of this holder that allows you to just slip the phone in from the top. This holder doesn't work well with my phone (iPhone 12) because it does not stay steady and in one place. The ball on the back rotates down so that the face of my phone is facing down. I adjust it to point up and then it will slip down again.
