I liked a lot, I had cusineart before trying brain for first time Small in size , light weight comes along with dough handler 300 watt power , works for me

The hand mixer is in the good size and the weight is good for me to handle. The 300 Watt power is sufficient to make cakes.

It does the mixing thing. This was a recent purchase prompted by the old previous hand mixer's passing into small appliance heaven. Never had dough hooks before, they work better than beaters. So if and when making dough, such as for cinnamon rolls, they worked well, easy to clean up. Have to pay attention to the insert holes for beaters and hooks they are specific not universal.

I am very disappointed with the mixer. I did not actually use it to mix anything, but I did pre-try it right out of the box. My old mixer had much more power.
