This coffee maker brews a good cuppa, but the build quality and user experience are a little suspect. One of the rings you use to grab the coffee cone out of the brewing chamber snappe off while tapping it on the side of the sink, and the LEDs on the display started to fail within months of purchase. Also, setting a brew timer is needlessly complicated/obtuse.

I bought this thinking it was going to be a long-lasting unit with all the features I would ever need. I've now been using it for about 10 months. Several months ago a few of the LED segments went out so you can no longer read the clock, and it's started to leak water from somewhere, which puddles underneath the coffee maker. I had placed the unit on a wooden tray so I could slide it under the cabinets easily. The puddled water sort of destroyed the tray. Also, the "drip stop" lever does not always stop the drip, so coffee dribbles onto the hot plate when you remove the carafe. And lastly, no matter what coffee setting you put it on, the coffee grounds float above the edge of the paper coffee filters and get into the coffee. I prefer the paper filters because the reusable filter left too much sludge in the coffee. I'm pretty disappointed overall.

This is a good coffee pot if you want to use the carafe for less than half the coffee pot just keep it on half or full and just add the water you want and the hot plate will heat up whatever water you added

I love this coffee pot. I love that it has separate hot water and that I can make a cup of coffee or a pot of coffee. If I want in between a pot and a half a pot then you just fill the water to the amount of coffee you want. The automatic start was a little challenging at first but I figured it out and now I use it everyday. Very happy with this and I would highly recommend it.

Has been a great addition to my kitchen. Easy to use and i like the different flavor choices.
