Customer Ratings & Reviews

I got this game for my Nintendo Switch, intrigued by its free play model and the rave reviews it has received as a solid alternative to other good games. What caught my attention was the idea of a game that offers extensive online multiplayer features and a large roster of characters, all without costing a dime. Since this was a digital download, I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the game was ready to play. The download was seamless, and the game’s vibrant, cartoonish graphics immediately stood out. It comes packed with over 50 characters called legends, each with unique abilities and weapons. The game’s combat system is simple yet deep enough to keep you coming back. The fact that it’s cross platform means I can play with friends on different consoles, which adds a lot of value. Playing it has been a blast, whether I’m engaging in casual free for alls or competitive ranked matches, the game performs smoothly with minimal lag during online play. The controls are intuitive, making it easy to pick up but challenging to master. I also appreciate that the game receives frequent updates, introducing new characters and events that keep the gameplay fresh.Honestly for a free to play game, it offers a surprisingly robust experience that stands out in its own right. The lack of pay to win mechanics is a huge plus, making it accessible to all players regardless of whether they choose to make in game purchases. PROS: Free to play with no pay to win elements. Large and diverse roster of characters. Excellent cross platform multiplayer. Frequent updates keep the game fresh. CONS: Graphics and stage design aren’t as polished as some competitors. Limited offline mode variety. My final thoughts are that this game is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a fun and accessible fighting game. It’s particularly great for players who enjoy multiplayer games, whether casually with friends or competitively online. If you’re a fan of platform fighters, this game is definitely worth adding to your library, especially since it’s free to try out.

Brawlhalla is a fantastic 2D platform fighter that's easy to pick up but hard to master. The game's roster of diverse legends, each with unique weapons and abilities, offers a wide range of playstyles. Whether you prefer the fast-paced, aerial combos of a character like Cross or the more grounded, strategic approach of a character like Bödvar, there's something for everyone. One of the game's greatest strengths is its active and dedicated community. Regular updates introduce new legends, stages, and game modes, keeping the game fresh and exciting. The competitive scene is thriving, with tournaments and leagues held around the world. While the game does have a free-to-play model, it's important to note that there are in-game purchases for cosmetics and other items. However, these are purely cosmetic and don't affect gameplay. Overall, Brawlhalla is a highly enjoyable and competitive fighting game that offers endless hours of fun. It's a great choice for both casual and competitive players alike.

Brawlhalla is an okay platform fighter. Has a variety of characters and runs smoothly. 4 stars because it can get repetitive after a while.

Brawlhalla is easy to learn but hard to master. Fast matches, great characters, and tons of fun with friends.

Great brawl game reminds me of smash bros. There is also a plethora of characters with many different skins and effects. Along with weapon selections. Fun game.

Awesome product, such a fun time and would definitely recommend to others.

Not bad for a free game. Controls are simple and it's very active, but moves and characters do not stand out.
