Clean lines, easy operation, lime doesn't accumulate, nice stainless steel-design, little plastic. We use multiple times daily and are very happy with the purchase (also own a few other small Breville appliances (microwave, pizza oven). The cord can be hidden/shortened with the under base hideaway as shown in images that I've attached.

This item was expensive and it does its job very well on a daily basis. But what I noticed is there’s never chalk or calcium on the bottom. We always use filtered water and we always had chalk every several weeks. It was super hard to get rid of it. On this machine, there’s nothing. Looks absolutely like day one.Just look at the picture. I never used descale or vinegar.

Excellent addition to my breville collection. Making tea is fast and fantastic.. Great decision on this purchase.

Fantastic! Temped every setting with a thermometer and it's spot on, within +/- 2 degrees. Also, solid and esthetic construction.

The Breville electric kettle is easy to use, durable and has all the settings you'll need to get your temperature just right. Although I mostly use the regular setting there are times when my green tea needs to be a little cooler than the full boil on the regular setting. It heats up fast, keeps the temperature steady so I don't have to pour my tea right after the water boils, and automatically shuts off. I like it a lot!

We are extremely happy with the Breville BKE820XL electric kettle. It heats water incredibly fast, which is a huge time-saver, especially when we’re in a rush. The different temperature settings are a fantastic feature, allowing us to heat water to the perfect temperature for everything from tea to coffee to hot chocolate. The temperature control is precise and easy to use, which is a nice touch. The kettle itself is well-constructed and feels very durable, which is something we’ve come to expect from Breville products. We actually own several Breville appliances, and we’ve been consistently impressed with the quality and performance of each one. The only downside, as with many Breville products, is that they can be on the pricier side. However, for the quality and features, it’s worth the investment.

Heats water quickly. Lid opens leisurely and very smoothly when you hit the button on the handle. Auto shut-off working well. One quiet beep when you hit buttons on the base, and 3 quiet beeps when the desired temperature is reached. Also beeps once quietly when you take the kettle off the base or replace it on the base. The LED backlit buttons on the base look cool. Water level on the kettle is not backlit but is easy to read. Top of kettle has a clear lid made of plastic, which looks cool. Water heated in the kettle tastes normal (no metal or plastic taste).

I think Breville is one of the best brands and I have most of their products. Recently I bought this kettle because I can select different temperature for different tea and coffee

Easy to fill, boils water fairly quickly (no more or less than our old kettle on the stove) & looks great - it matches the other Breville products on our counter.

I used this kettle for about a month, and I love it. The best features are 1) you can pre-set several temperature levels, from "green tea" to "boil"; 2) It beeps discretely when done, and also continues to hold the temperature level for up to 20 min if you want, and 3) nice design. It looks great, and is comfortable to use.

Great pot, works fast and the beeping when water is at temp is super quiet and a nice touch.

So far, I'm very happy with the kettle. It looks great, too. Others have mentioned the frequent beeps but the sound is not intrusive or annoying. Love being able to choose a temp setting for the different kinds of tea. I drink mostly green tea and the temp is perfect, low enough to keep the tender leaves from burning and hot enough for comfortable drinking.

I had some good kettles in the past but this one so far has to be the best. It’s quick at boiling water and the function buttons on the base have made this kettle top of my list. You can select the different temperatures depending on the tea which is very nice. Built with quality and price isn’t too bad either. Excellent kettle, well worth the money.

This is our favorite kitchen appliances. Heats water very fast , love it. This is my second one, the first one I had used more than 7 years, and still worked nicely, but it is time to have a new one.

Easy to use multiple temperature settings. quick, quiet and comfortable to pour.

I purchased this tea kettle to replace the one used in our very large office. After doing quite a bit of research, we opted for this model because it had the ability to heat water for various types of tea and coffee. It gets refilled/reheated multiple times each day and so far it has held up quite well. I am considering getting one to use at home.

These kettles are the best. The only reason I am buying a new one is because my mother stole my first one that I have had for 4 years! That one is still going strong, and i expect it to for years to come. Excellent products, I start every morning with this kettle for my french press coffee or tea, and it makes my oatmeal without the need for a microwave!

This is a sleek looking small appliance which looks great on our new countertop. We use for quick heat of water for tea and coffee press. It’s great for cooking too. Although I don’t use it much for change of water temperature it’s nice to have if I make different blends of teas.

It looks beautiful on my counter and can heat at different temperatures. Green tea and black tea require different temperatures for a quality cup. This offers that function. My son loves French press and this heats to boiling very quickly!
