I like a good cup of coffee, but never thought I was one to be lured into spending lots on coffee away from home. Until I did the math on my McDonald’s coffee habit- the gateway cup to Dunkin and Starbucks. They’re fast. It’s on my way to work. It’s a money pit for something I could bring from home, if I had the time. It gives me back my time. Including the beans and the milk (dairy, oat, almond, or soy), this fantastic machine STILL pays for itself in under three months. AND it gives me back my time. No more lines. I’ve never been an espresso person, and have never had anything but a great automatic drip coffee maker. But the occasional nice vacation or romantic date with my beloved, and those memorable latte art topped coffees have added to that “someday” dream of maybe making the leap. It’s fast, makes excellent cups in less time than it took me to brew a pot, no pods for landfills, and it’s easy to use. Oh, it’s a little fancy, so there’s that. Yet somehow, it’s really sturdy. Just fun. Before I review Breville Oracle Jet, I want to add that I ordered it to a different address, but instead it was delivered to my home address, not happy about that, but I did not want tk take away stars from this amazing product for carelessness of Best Buy. Now on to Breville Oracle Jet, I purchased many years ago Breville Express, and was impressed by build quality and amazing coffee, despite it being still fully functional with no issues at all it was time to upgrade to next level up of an espresso machine. I’ve looked into many of super automatic machines, but most are fully plastic, and have too many smal parts that scream for issues ro come, plus many negative reviews and not thag cheap. Breville is not cheap, but it screams premium build, looks amazing, and has long history of amazing products, so when Breville released Oracle Jet, which can be updated with software, plus it is in my option about 95% super automatic, and that 5% that i have to do takes seconds. It offers lots of options of coffee drinks, which are already pre-set, but i can further make it my own and save it under new settings. It also guides you to making perfect coffee with grinding beans, and it sure does. Crema that comes out with coffee is yummy, and delicious on its own without needing to add milk product, but when making latte or a cappuccino, absolutely best tasting outcome. I remember days when I paid $8 for a cup of latte just because I couldn’t make one tasting that good with my Breville Express, but now what i can make at home tastes better than that $8 cup of latte. One would think that it takes a lot of time to make a drink, absolutely not, so quick, so delicious, I am just so extremely happy that I have this amazing machine at home. Every drink comes out perfect every single time. I made drinks for others, and makes me feel like I am a professional barista, because any drink they requested I perfected it with my Breville Oracle Jet. Price was hard to swallow, but if I calculated how much I spent previously on outside coffee drinks, this will profit on its own in no time at all. I have absolutely no regrets in buying this product.

I just recently bought this machine. So far it’s the best espresso machine I’ve ever had. super easy to use and the machine build is super high-quality. It has LED lights, which I find to be extremely useful. The water gets filled in the front, which is a huge upgrade from previous machines. Lastly, the quad core processor makes the espresso making process. machine flawless and smooth. I highly suggest buying this machine if you love espresso as much as I do by far the best machine yet for Breville.

I picked up the Breville Oracle Jet to replace my old, and failing, Breville Oracle Touch. The Oracle Jet warms up extremely fast making it a breeze to make a quick espresso. I thank the thermojet heater for this over the boiler in the Touch. This machine deserves a 4.5 star rating due it's quick heating and cold brew options, which are awesome. I would have given it a rating of 5 if the milk frothing was better. While the Oracle Jet does prepare the milk well, it is not the same quality as was in the Oracle Touch. This I blame on the lack of the boiler. I wish Best Buy sold the new Oracle Touch Dual Boiler, with advanced controls, but it does not. With this said, the Oracle Jet is a fantastic machine that produces a variety of wonderful coffee beverages, including cold brew coffees.

At $2K one would certainly expect an espresso machine that does it all and I believe that would be a fairly accurate description of the Breville Oracle Jet. This is the perfect machine for all levels of home baristas! Upon setup and power-on, it walks the user through dialing in the grind settings to obtain the perfectly timed shot for the very best espresso experience. Too course a grind, and it brews too quickly resulting in a flat tasting, under extracted sour espresso. Too fine of a grind will result in a slow brew and a harsh , bitter, overly extracted espresso. With the Oracle's brewing guidance, it keeps track of the pre-infusion time and overall brew time, then it suggests either a finer or courser grind to dial in the optimal shot of espresso! This is a single boiler system, so extraction of espresso and frothing of milk/cream must be done separately and can be fully automated with one step following the next once the chosen recipe is executed. I prefer my milk froth to settle a bit, so I override the order and execute that step first, followed by the espresso brewing. Speaking of recipes this thing is loaded and with a quick firmware update (once connected to Wi-Fi) it brings even more. Espresso, Americano, latte, cappuccino, flat white, the list goes on and on. It even allows for cold brewing of many, lengthening out water to coffee exposure to compensate for the lower temperature water! This is easy enough for my daughter & wife to use, however both are still intimidated by it (I'm working on getting them in on the fun). It grinds, tamps, brews and froths as automatically as one would want. The only thing for the home barista to do is to select the recipe, ensure that the hopper has beans, the water tank is full, and that they move the 58mm portafilter from the grinder/tamper to the brew head! We have used this almost daily since unboxing it two weeks ago. It's expensive, but if one is to build their dream (non professional level) espresso bar, it's the perfect place to start!

Best espresso machine I have ever owned. I used to use an independent milk frother, but this machine is so easy use that it is easier and quicker to use the milk steam wand which gets the temperature perfect and the froth level perfect every time. Love the feature that gives constant advice about grind settings so it can continually adapt to different coffee bean textures. Seriously best espresso machine I have ever owned

Hands down the smoothest and boldest espresso drinks I’ve ever tasted!! When you unbox this beautiful machine you will see how well made it is. The touchscreen menu allows you to scroll through multiple drink choices from espressos, lattes to espresso martini’s!! You customize each of the drink options as well as create, save and name your new favorite drink! The barista assistance tells you if your pour is too fast or too slow and tells what to adjust your grind to. Click on the “I” at anytime for information about the drink you are making and the recipe to make it. Connect your device to wi-fi for automatic updates. Click the settings gear to access maintenance with step by step instructions with pictures. Customize your water temperature and type of milk you want to use and it micro froths it to 150 degrees of perfection! From fresh grind beans at each cup to endless customizable drinks with perfect micro bubbles to your milk you will experience the best espresso ever ♥️

I love that you don't have to wait for the boiler to warm up, like most models. It's instant on and allows you to make coffee that tastes great quickly. The initial setup guided us through the water hardness strip's use. The diagram on the packaging of the strip was strange, but the touch screen walk through was clear.

I bought the Breville Oracle Jet right before Christmas, and the time off around the holidays was honestly perfect for dialing it in. The biggest thing I learned is how important it is to use the right beans and make sure they’re freshly roasted, but once you do, wow. The coffee absolutely blows Starbucks away. It’s not even close. I’m beyond happy with this purchase. I make a cup every single day, and I’ve even started bringing extra cups in for coworkers because it’s just that good. We have a Nespresso machine at the office, and after tasting this, none of us want Nespresso anymore. We’re seriously talking about getting one of these for the office. If you love great coffee and actually enjoy using your machine daily, this one is worth every penny.

Love waking up and getting to use this machine every morning! So simple to use and makes an incredibly good Espresso! Have used it to make everything from Latte’s and Iced Coffee to Espresso Martini’s! Anything you throw at this machine, it can handle!

This machine is incredible! I love how user friendly the it is. Even the cleaning and maintenance is pleaaant. I make myself two cappachinos with LF Fairlofe milk everyday and I’m totally addicted. I’ll drive past all coffee shops to get home and make my coffee. My boyfriend prefers regular coffee, so he uses the Americano function and enjoys the results. My teenage girls make iced lattes of all flavors. We love making affogatos too! We’ve tried all kinds of fun ice cream flavors. As much as I love my coffee and how this machine brings my family and friends together. I’m forever a fan of Breville. Bravo for thinking of ALL of the things! My ONLY beef is that the blue surface has chipped in several places on the tray. To be fair, I do throw it in the dishwasher from time to time, so I’m sure that doesn’t help. It doesn’t change how much I love this thing!

Best coffee machine for in home!!! This one onscreen teaches you how to do each type of coffee depending on what you’re feeling for the day!!! Buying this has brought going to Starbucks to a hault because we can get breville quality at home

Makes esspresso better than most cafes out there! The setup was made simple with the step by step digital manual thats provided upon tirning it on! I love the amount of different coffee options it has tutorials and recipes for, and the milk heater and frother is awesome for hot lattes or cappuccinos. The only concern we have is that the portafilter press is automatic, and after about two weeks with it, the press wont stamp the grinded coffee anymore and we're unsure how to fix it or if it's broken completely. GREAT machine otherwise tho and good quality!

I purchased this for my Christmas Gift to myself - I've enjoyed the Barista Express for several years and HAD to have the Oracle Jet! (My daughter now owns the Barista and she's thrilled -it's still going strong!) Oracle is a gorgeous machine and it's really as easy as pushing buttons to use. The downside is that I want to make coffee drinks ALL the time - but I would never sleep! My husband has discovered he loves the espresso. I am taking advantage of the coffee plan that is offered with purchase and I enjoy what they are choosing and sending. Merry Christmas to ME!

The Oracle Jet is the best coffee maker I've ever owned. I had the Bambino Plus, then the Barista Touch Impress, and now this great machine. The double thermojet allows for better coffee extraction, automatically doses the coffee, stirs the flour, and tamps the coffee. The milk wand has a temperature sensor at the tip, making steaming more efficient. That machine isn't magic, though; you still need to use fresh, high-quality coffee.

I’ll admit, it was intimidating at first. Going from a keurig to this magical machine. It was definitely worth the switch! The whole family loves it and I don’t regret the price tag after having owned it for a few months! Super easy to use. I love getting freshly roasted beans in the mail, too!
