This brand new Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress Bomber Aircraft "World War II" model is a challenging difficulty steel model kit by Metal Earth. The kit comes in a brand new box and features a detailed exterior, landing gear, and includes 76 parts. Designed for challenging difficulty, the model does not require glue or paint, though tweezers or similar tools are recommended for assembly. The assembled dimensions are approximately 6.9 inches in length, 5.3 inches in width, and 1.57 inches in height, and the model does not have any openings. The B-17 Flying Fortress was a World War II heavy bomber, powered by turbo-supercharged radial engines that provided the high-altitude performance necessary to fly above the effective range of antiaircraft artillery.
