Its a quality product but if you don't have another one of their products you can't use it. But if you do its a great product and works well. Controls are good and work with no lag.

Excellent alternative to unreliable competition

I had purchased the TP Link model, and it was constantly being disconnected from the Internet, having to unplug and replug. The Brilliant pluf worked immediately and goes on without getting disconnected from the Internet. Works really well with Google Assistant, Google Home Hub and the Brilliant smart switches.
