The product is amazing for any cold brew lovers out there. It is very easy to use and makes storage of concentrate even easier/convenient. Don’t forget to wet filter prior to putting into top unit or you’ll have it float on you when you add water. The bottom storage carafe is glass and the top unit is plastic. Everything is well made and is attractive for the kitchen. The directions recommend medium roast, but Dark works better for our family.

I originally purchased this cold brew maker after looking at multiple cold brew systems that were sold out at the time. I eventually settled on this system, and I cannot be happier. Pros: Nice design, drip through/valve at the bottom is functional and easy to use Makes delicious cold brew coffee Comes with two filters Glass flask which is attractive to look at, come with a cover to store Cons: Large/Bulky Upper assembly made entirely of plastic Only comes with 2 filters Glass flask is easy to break and impossible to replace This would be a 5/5 product if filters were easy to find and if bottom flask was easily replaceable. It would also be nice if system wasn't so bulky, but that is asking for a lot.

I bought this to try cold brewing for the first time. The process recommended by Brim for this coffee maker is quite easy to follow and efficient. While the valve is supposed to keep the coffee concentrate from leaking and I did not find any leaks during my cold brewing, I would still recommend placing a piece of food plastic wrap and aluminum foil beneath it to contain any potential leaks. Also, during the transfer process, be careful to put the coffee maker on a flat surface and to avoid high traffic areas where someone might bump into it. Finally, I think the cold brew coffee tastes best by itself without any creamer, and it does uses a lot more coffee than the normal brewing process.

Makes making cold brew dead simple, however I think their recipe of 12oz coffee to 7cups of water is a bit strong. Just mix coffee and water in the plastic chamber, let it sit for 12 to 24, I aim for about 18, then put it on the glass carfe to filter and drain. Not sure it it is worth $50, but at the deal of the day price it's a steal! Main complaint is the filters, they work well but you can't get replacements. I had to buy toddy filters online, and they are slightly bigger than the original.

This is a great "low tech" cold brew maker. I've seen pricier ones that are electronic but this is simple to use and makes great cold brew. Just add course ground coffee, water, and then let it sit at room temperature for 12-24 hours. Once it's done just set it on top of the glass carafe and let the reusable filter and gravity do its' thing. Definitely recommend this for anyone wanting a good quality cold brew at home.

It's as easy as inserting the reusable filter, dumping in a 12-ounce package of coffee, adding water and letting it sit for 12-24 hours. Then place the brewing compartment atop the carafe and let it empty the brewing compartment. The brewed coffee is concentrated, so the five cups goes a long way. We usually get 15-20 iced coffees from a single brew. My wife questioned why we needed it, until she tasted the coffee. Now we keep a container of cold-brewed coffee in the refrigerator all the time. It keeps for a couple of weeks.

Wife loves her new cold brew coffee maker. Much easier than two people trying to strain coffee through a coffee filter and spilling all over the counter. Would of given 5 stars but trying to find replacement filters seems to be an issue. Will try my two day deliver store.

Technically, I'd give it 4.5 stars as it makes good cold brew relatively quick at a fraction of the cost. The only downfall with the system is the filter, there are only two of them, will need replaced and are hard to find.

I’ve never made cold brew before. This came with easy to follow directions and I was easily able to make cold brew. I loved the outcome and it feels like a solid product. I would be very gentle with storage though... the glass is sturdy but not super thick. Hand wash only.

This is very easy to use and makes a huge batch of cold brew concentrate. It's great to keep in the fridge and is much cheaper than buying a cold brew beverage from a coffee shop

This is my first cold brew system but I would say I have proficient experience since I've used this unit consistently since day 1 and researched many cold brew systems. The coffee maker is solidly built and a great value for the money. With it, I am treated to a rich cup of coffee that I have now come to expect each morning. The only downside is the company does not offer their own filters and I must use off-brand from Amazon. It is a good workaround, however.

ah, delightful jitters. this is great! a little funky to execute but you can't knock the result. cold brew. the best kind of coffee. just don't drink this straight, make sure you figure out the right mix. this is cold brew concentrate. i certainly had a bad time until i figured out the right mix for me. or drink it straight and hallucinate until you puke, man, you do you.

I love this coffee maker, comes with a recipe book with some good ideas. The coffee is amazing and it’s quick to grab a cup in the morning

Although it takes 12 ounces of ground coffee to cold brew each time, it produces great tasting concentrate that is much less acidic.

I've tried cold brew coffee making previously, but never with a unit as simple and basic as the Brim 5 Cup Cold Brew Coffeemaker. It's easy to set up and fill with coffee grounds. Just add water and wait 12 to 24 hours. Then it's a simple matter of placing the brew unit on top of the pitcher and out comes delicious cold brewed coffee. The brewer is made out of plastic, but the carafe is glass, which holds the cold brewed coffee. I got this on a deal of the day, so for the price, I couldn't go wrong.
