A: In order to do any faxing from your home, you must have a landline phone line.

A: Yes, it comes with a carbon paper ribbon which serves as it's ink. I doubt it will last very long or provide very good quality though so there you have it.

A: Yes and no. speeaker only lets you hear - not talk with the handset down - so you can answer a call and switch over to FAX when you hear the signal. no built-in mic. I guess that cost more. Still, Ilike it and it does the job for me cheaply.
