We'll deliver, install and make sure your new Built-In refrigerator is working. We'll connect it to existing local utilities. Additional charges may apply if not up to local codes or requirements.
- Before we begin: To prepare for installation, clear a path from the street to the kitchen wide enough to accommodate the refrigerator. And make sure someone 18 or older is present at the appointment time.
- Disconnection: We’ll disconnect the existing refrigerator from the water and electrical system.
- Connection: We’ll use the manufacturer-supplied hardware to install the refrigerator. Then, we’ll connect it to your existing water and electrical. If an anti-tip bracket is required by the manufacturer that will be installed, if refused the unit cannot be installed and will be drop-off only.
- Final steps: We’ll clean up and recycle all packaging and make sure your new refrigerator is functioning properly. Finally, we’ll answer any questions you may have and let you know how to contact us for future support.
- Purchase haul-away services for an additional fee: When you purchase a qualifying refrigerator from Best Buy, we’ll haul away and recycle or relocate your old one for you (not included).
- Potential Additional charges: Additional charges may apply for permits required by your municipality, cabinet or counter modifications, utilities like valves or outlets which are non-functional or not-up-to code or installation of water supply lines longer than 20 feet, door swing reversal. Relocation does not include reconnection.
